About

Anthony Mechanical Inc runs as an HVAC contractor out of Lubbock, Texas, with additional stops in Abilene, Midland, and San Angelo. The outfit has handled design, installation, and upkeep on commercial, educational, and industrial systems across West Texas and eastern New Mexico since 1924. They signed on with the Linc Service network back in 1982 to grow their service side. A fleet of more than 25 stocked vans lets them move between those towns and meet demands from schools, plants, and offices that need steady climate control in the region's harsh weather swings.

Crews handle preventive maintenance on large rooftop units and split systems, full replacements when old equipment fails, and twenty-four hour emergency calls for breakdowns that hit during summer peaks or winter freezes. They also roll out energy conservation upgrades like controls and duct fixes to cut costs for building owners. Vans travel routes such as Highway 84 from Shallowater into Lubbock and local streets like Upland and 19th to reach sites, carrying parts for quick repairs on the spot rather than multiple trips back to the yard.

Customers flag repeated problems with company drivers who speed, swerve between lanes, cut others off, and show road rage through honking and gestures on those same highways and city roads. One delivery attempt ended with staff refusing a pallet after closing time and another note called the receiving crew lazy. These patterns around speed, handling, and basic communication pull the rating down sharply with no offsetting praise on quality or price. DIRT Score 2.46 from 14 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

The WORST driver from this company had the audacity to honk and flip me off on Upland and 19th going West because I was letting the car in front of him merge into my lane cause there was a car crash about 45 feet in front on the left side of road. He quickly sped to drive over the debris other cars were being careful to miss and trying to give lots of room to the people directly around the smashed car that was partially in the road. Not to mention there was another car in front of me limiting me from going any faster. Got the license plate to call in a complaint too. If you’re considering this business, maybe think again cause it’s employee ( that you potentially get) has MAJOR rage issues. They don’t deserve your money for all this attitude 🤣

At least one driver today on Highway 84 coming from Shallowater towards Lubbock seem to be under the influence of something because he was going from 60 to 80 miles an hour and swerving between the lanes. I don’t want to suggest breathalyzer on the vehicles because it could be muscle relaxers, but that is definitely safe driving if I was able to see a vehicle number I would put your.

Apparently, this company has a drunk or some sort of maniac behind the wheel of one of their company trucks. One man cut me off this morning and was honking and waving his arms at me-- Road raging to say the least. I got a picture of the license and will be reporting.

Horrible place to deliver to. Lazy!!! Show up @ 4:05 to be told receiving stops @ 4:00. Had 1 pallet and wouldn’t take it.

AMI installs piping systems to the highest standards, and provides excellent service for their customers.
