The technician stated refrigerant would cost $265 per “gallon” (likely meaning pound) and claimed I needed 10—bringing the total to $2,600, later reduced to $2,000 with a “discount.” This raised immediate red flags, as it is significantly higher than standard pricing. To make matters worse, the estimate I received was not itemized—just a flat charge of $2,000 with no breakdown of parts or labor. I have contacted the company multiple times requesting a simple itemized estimate, but have not been provided one. At this point, I feel this was a clear attempt to upsell and overcharge rather than provide honest service. Transparency and integrity matter, especially in situations where homeowners rely on professional guidance.
