About

Raider Air Services works out of Dallas, Texas on HVAC systems for local homes. The outfit takes on air conditioning and heating jobs in a city where summer heat can push past one hundred degrees for weeks at a time and winter nights sometimes drop low enough to freeze lines. Homeowners call when units quit during peak season or when older furnaces start acting up before a cold snap. The crew knows the local setup of rooftops, attics, and crawl spaces that most Dallas houses use for their equipment. They show up with the tools and parts needed to get systems running again without dragging the job out.

Technicians handle routine service calls that include recharging refrigerant, replacing capacitors, clearing clogged drains, and swapping out thermostats that no longer read right. In the heavy summer months they often trace short cycling back to dirty coils or failing fans and get those fixed before the house turns into an oven. During cooler stretches they check heat strips and gas lines for safe operation. Work usually starts with a clear explanation of what broke and what the fix will cost, then moves straight to the repair so the customer can get back to normal. Dallas homes see plenty of these same problems year after year because of the constant load on the equipment.

Customers keep coming back because the jobs finish on time, the repairs hold up through the next heat wave, and the prices stay in line with what the work actually requires. Techs explain the problem in plain terms and answer questions without pushing extra parts. That steady record on speed, quality, and straight talk builds the rating. What Customers Say

Fantastic experience and very flexible schedule. The flight instructor and ground staff were very kind and helpful. And the plane was great too. I flew the most modern looking Cessna ever! Overall amazing experience!

Great place to learn to fly! I did my private pilot training here and the experience was great. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. When it came time for my checkride I felt prepared. Highly recommend!

I’ve started and stopped flight training over the past 20 years at multiple flight schools and always felt underprepared after solo to move to the next step to complete PPL. After moving to Lubbock and looking into Raider Aviation, I was extremely impressed with their curriculum layout and decided to start flying again and finally got my PPL. I could not recommend this training facility enough. They prepare you for everything you need to know, and their flight instructors are all really great. They take safety seriously and I never felt like they were taking any risky chances ever (I wish I could say this for other flight schools I attended). If you are someone like me who started and stopped several times and never felt you would ever achieve your dream, I can confidently tell you Raider Aviation will get you to the finish line. As long as you dedicate yourself and follow their curriculum plan, you can complete your ppl as well. Lastly, I feel it’s worth saying, you don’t have to be a full time student pilot with this program; I work full time and didn’t have the ability to fly 3-4 times a week. You can schedule Saturday flight training and slowly build your time.

The guy who seems to run this place (sonny) is a real piece of work, lots of ROTC students come here to get flight hours in order to become competitive for a pilot slot, and most of them pay out of pocket in order to do this. Once Sonny found out we were using sim hours because they were more affordable, he required that a CFI be present in the room, which launched the price from 60$/hour to 125$/hour. This added no value to the training were receiving and just meant there was someone else sitting silent in the room offering no training value but also costing twice as much. Disgusting business practices like these are why I will never give my money to Raider Aviation.

I had a great experience at Raider Aviation for my commercial multi add-on. The aviation culture is top notch and it reflects in every aspect of the school. The facility is clean and organized. The planes are kept in excellent condition. Everyone helps you right away, from the front desk, mechanics, and flight instructors. People automatically help you spot and tow a plane without asking for help. The ground and flight training is put well together. The DPE availability is good. It has a family atmosphere and positive attitudes. I definitely recommend Raider Aviation.
