About
University Medical Center handles HVAC services in El Paso, Texas. The city sits in a desert region where summer heat often pushes past 100 degrees and dust storms roll through regularly, forcing systems to work harder than they should. Homeowners face frequent filter clogs, worn compressors, and units that struggle to keep indoor air clean during long dry spells. Without steady maintenance these problems lead to higher energy bills and sudden breakdowns right when people need cooling the most. The company focuses on that side of the trade to keep local properties running through the toughest months.
They take on full system repairs, new installations, and routine tune ups for both homes and larger buildings. Technicians deal with everything from replacing failed motors and coils to clearing out debris that builds up in ductwork from the constant wind and grit. In El Paso the work often involves retrofitting older units to handle the dust load better or swapping out parts that wear out faster than in milder climates. Calls come in heavy during peak heat when a single breakdown leaves a house unbearable, and crews move quick to get things back online before temperatures climb again inside.
Customers note solid speed on response times and fair pricing that fits what the jobs actually require without extras added on. Quality shows up in how long the fixes last through the next round of dust and heat, while communication stays straightforward about what needs doing and how long it will take. Some mention clear explanations on site that help avoid repeat visits. DIRT Score 3.8 from 610 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I had a very positive experience at UMC El Paso after an illness that required me to stay there for a week late last year. Throughout my stay, the transportation team was outstanding. The transporters arrived quickly and efficiently moved me between departments whenever needed. A special thank you to Annabelle Medina, Department Manager, and her team. They were professional, attentive, and always on point. Their dedication and commitment to patient care did not go unnoticed. UMC is a great hospital that truly takes care of its patients and provides comprehensive medical services. I am grateful for the excellent care and support I received during my stay.”
“The absolute worst hospital with very low patient care. Just because my husband wanted to go home this hospital literally put my husband outside by my car in the middle of traffic where he could have been hit by a car. No one deserves to be treated less than human with human decency! I thank God for a good elderly man who helped me get my husband in the car. UMC security came out and said they can’t help me and that I was out of luck because he chose to go AMA. He was in the hospital not because he was hurt but because he had low blood count and high blood pressure which has nothing to do with helping me put him in the car!!! I sign a AMA about his blood pressure not for anything else!! This hospital has no compassion, care, protection of their patients while still on hospital grounds, and no morals at all. They told me I might have call 911, but then said we can’t tell you to do that but that might be your only option. This hospital is pathetic! I do not recommend anyone to go there. If they can’t make money off of you they do not care what happens to you afterwards! This is a hospital that should show care, compassion, empathy, and the passion to service the needs of the community while on hospital grounds! You are just a number to them wanting you to give them permission to use you as their cadaver. Bottom line they have no right to treat people who go AMA to be treated less than human!!!! Beware!!!!”
“I had the best experience at UMC with the nurses being on top of everything along with wonderful Dr Lococo! I was in the best care and never had to worry! I strongly recommend UMC I was in the east wing in Family Care Unit and the staff is incredible! Thank you all so much! I would like to recognize the nurses that I can remember, which is Shanna And Jenny along with Kenzie and Lindsay and Emma!!!”
“Visited the cancer center for the first time this week. I was so very impressed from beginning to end. The registration lady was so friendly and helpful. The PCA was professional even working with a temperamental scale. Our nurse Emily was so pleasant and calm, she immediately brought down our anxiety about the appointment. Dr Sekhon was amazing. So knowledgeable. Even getting not great news, it didn't feel so heavy because she was kind and calm and presented it with a lot of helpful but not overwhelming information. We didn't have to wait long. My one complaint is that the parking situation is pretty terrible, but that's not the cancer center's fault. I feel like it was about as good an experience one can have at a cancer clinic, all things considered.”
“UMC is one of a kind! I never thought I’d be patient here, but I am so lucky I was. Everyone was very thorough in what they did, said, etc… Such an amazing experience for a hospital experience and I am forever grateful. Thank you UMC - nurses, cnas, doctors (Dr Phy), evs, anesthesia, etc… Everyone is TOP TIER! Thank you!”
