“I had USA Express Air Conditioning install a mini split in a room that previously had a window unit, and the difference has been incredible. I’ve owned inverter window units before and still have a large window unit in another room, but neither one comes close to how well this mini split cools and heats. One feature I didn’t realize I would appreciate so much is the Auto mode. I keep it set between 70 and 73 degrees, and it automatically switches between heating and cooling as needed. During the time I’ve had it, we’ve had warm days and cool nights, and my old window units always required me to manually switch between heat and cool. More than once I’d wake up freezing because the temperature dropped overnight and the unit was still set to cooling. With this mini split, I don’t have to think about it. It just keeps the room comfortable. I’ve had it for a couple of months now, and I honestly don’t think I’ve turned it off other than to clean the filters. It’s quiet, maintains temperature extremely well, and has exceeded my expectations. Another thing I really like is that it runs on a standard wall outlet. They were able to use an existing plug, so there was no need for a larger breaker or electrical upgrade. The only modification was a small hole through the exterior wall for the refrigerant lines and drain line. The installation was clean, professional, and looked great when they were finished. Since that installation, we’ve had them install two additional mini splits at one of our rental properties and replace both the indoor and outdoor units on a different home, replacing a system that was around 30 years old. So far, all four of the systems they’ve installed for us have been working great. The pricing has always been fair for the service and quality we’ve received.
