PlumbSmart Plumbing Heating and Air

PlumbSmart Plumbing Heating and Air operates out of Mesa, TX as a full service HVAC outfit that handles everything from routine maintenance to full system replacements. They keep crews on call around the clock so homeowners can reach them any time a unit quits during the worst heat. The company focuses strictly on heating and cooling work across the local area and nearby spots, showing up with the trucks and tools needed to get systems running again without long delays. Their background centers on practical field work rather than anything fancy, built around fixing what breaks in real houses under Texas conditions.

In Mesa the summers hit hard and air conditioning runs nonstop, so common calls involve compressors that seize up, thermostats that stop reading right, and duct leaks that waste cool air in attics. These technicians handle installs of new central systems, repairs on older furnaces when winter shows up, and filter changes plus coil cleanings that keep indoor air moving properly. They work through crawl spaces and rooftops as needed, bring parts on the truck to finish most jobs the same day, and test everything before they leave so the homeowner does not get called back right away. That approach matches what the weather demands here where one bad week of heat can turn a small issue into a big problem fast.

Customers keep coming back because the crews show up when promised, finish the work without cutting corners, and charge what feels fair for the parts and labor involved. Speed stands out on emergency calls while quality shows in systems that hold up through the season, and communication stays straightforward with clear explanations of what needs fixing and why. The numbers add up across thousands of jobs because those basics get handled right every time. DIRT Score 4.87 from 3308 reviews on Finds.

“I called late Saturday evening because my AC Unit was not working. Their answering service scheduled a time for Monday morning. However, I received a call back within minutes from Doug at PlumbSmart. He advised that he could haves someone at my home Sunday Morning. The technician, Jacob, arrived on time. Very professional. He advised that that the repair was minor and the unit could be repaired. Jacob had the repair made within 1 hour. He also completed a diagnostic test for the entire system. Everything was good. My system is working and I can stop sweating. :)”

“From the very beginning, when I called to set up an appointment, I knew I was in good hands. Awesome customer service ! Very fair price . They listened to my needs and helped me to figure out what needs to be done right away and what could wait. I highly recommend this company! My technicians were Devin and Derek. Both were super nice, talented and very educated on their craft! I’m a single person who has trouble making decisions and I’m so happy I hired these guys, it was awesome from start to finish!.”

“Initial quote for a 3 hour job was $2000 for labor alone (parts covered by warranty). Talked them down to $1600. Still overpriced. They will authorize your warranty parts delivered to their business without asking you, it’s a cheap tactic to lock you in. Ignore the fake reviews from everyone on here, these guys are not your fiends.”

“Came on the same day I called, and charged me a very reasonable price (half what another local plumber wanted). Mr Garcia was very professional and even spared a free moment to help me on another leak I was fixing myself! Mr Garcia had my water heater line fixed in under 30 min. Very pleased I chose this company.”

“A/C system is wearing out. Had a visit with Jacob from Plumb Smart today. Monday we are set for a full system upgrade. Jacob was professional, informative and able to answer all our questions. He even had a very good sense of humor which helps when dropping $$$. Can't wait for the new equipment next week!”

“This is the second home Plumbsmart has serviced for our family. Technicians are professional, informative and friendly. Prices are affordable and we’ve been part of their loyalty discount program for over a decade. We can also recommend their home improvement services. We’ve used carpentry and painting. Will be talking with plumbsmart soon about home improvement services for our re-caulking and re-grouting needs. We’ve counted on Plumbsmart & they've not let us down.”

“I called plumb smart when I had an emergency drain backup. Katie the dispatcher was very professional and very kind. They got a plumber out ( Charles ) same day. The blockage was really bad and took some serious effort from what I saw. He did not give up tho and got my drain emergency taken care of. Fair price compared to what I’ve paid in the past. Highly recommend plumbsmart! Thanks Katie and Charles!”
