“I had them do an inframe on my c15 in 2024. I was initially happy with the service until a year and a half, and 160,000 miles later, the truck dropped the #6 liner. When the car mechanic tore it apart, he found the other 5 liners were leaking as well. On top of that, when I had Redneck rebuild it, I ordered a NEW (not reman) MXS 625 camshaft from Cat and had it sent to Redneck so they could put it in during the build. After the liner failure, when it was pulled back apart, we verified the part number on the cam, and it’s a 550 camshaft. In all fairness, Cat could have shipped the wrong camshaft, or there could have been confusion at the shop, but 625 MXS camshaft is clearly listed out on the receipt, and that’s not what’s in it.”

“With so many mechanics AKA scammers now a days I was hesitant to visit this shop BUT wow do i not regret making the drive to get my worked on by these guys. Todd took care of me and gave me the knowledge on what’s best for my truck and really WOKE up my 6NZ. Best of all he won’t try to sell ya what you don’t need. Can truly say a great honest man.”

“Had several things needing done. Did good work replacing my 5th wheel plate and replacing backup alarm and light. A while back, I had them install turn signals lights on mirror brackets and ran them wrong or short or something. to where they would catch the window. Windows would only go down 1/4 of the way. Came back to truck and they left a mess. I normally pride my self on having a clean truck. So I did not have my stuff on the floor already. And they charged me for them fixing their mess up.”

“If I could give them negative stars, I would. I took my truck to Rednecks to have it checked out. James called me and said I needed a new ECM. I told him not to worry about it and asked how much the diagnostic would cost. He quoted me $175 for one hour. Ten minutes later, I called him back to ask for an estimate for the repair. He said he would send me a quote. The next day he emailed me a quote for $3,600. I immediately called him back and told him I would just come pick up my truck. When I went to pay, the diagnostic price suddenly jumped to $275. I asked why it went from $175 to $275. He changed the invoice from 1 hour to 1.5 hours and added a $15 “shop supplies” fee. The lady at the front desk couldn’t explain anything and was extremely rude. I guess they charged me extra just because I asked for an estimate. Then, when I got in my truck, it wouldn’t start. Keep in mind—I drove my truck to Rednecks with no issues. I was outside messing with my truck for 2–3 hours, and not a single person came out to offer help. I eventually had to call a tow truck to haul it back to my yard. Later, I found a technician who came to my yard and ran a computer diagnostic. He told me my ECM had been wiped clean. Thankfully, he was able to reprogram it and fix both the original issue and the new problem I ended up with after leaving Rednecks. And he charged me 10% of what Rednecks tried to charge. I don’t know if I “didn’t have the complexion for the connection,” but they treated me horribly, had the worst customer service, and in my opinion, tried to rob me. I usually don’t write reviews, but if I can save someone money and a massive headache: Do NOT go to this shop. If you need reliable ECM repairs, look me up—I’ll gladly give you the contact info for the technician who fixed mine.”

“I took a chance dealing with them to rebuild my engine in June 2025 I was surprised by up front conversation and honesty. THAT'S WHAT I LIKE! Very knowledgeable about the service where you have real mechanics instead of part replacer. Im happy 😁”
