Airfield
HVAC Contractor · Midland, TX
About
Airfield works as an HVAC company right in Houston, Texas. They take on air conditioning and heating jobs for houses across the city and surrounding spots. The team deals with the intense heat that defines summers here, where temperatures climb high and stay there for months on end. Homeowners often call when their systems struggle to keep up during peak heat waves or when humidity builds up inside. Airfield steps in to handle these demands without any extra talk, just getting the job done so families stay comfortable year round. Common issues include compressors failing under constant load and ducts collecting moisture that leads to bigger problems if ignored.
They show up to fix units that stop cooling when the afternoon heat peaks, replace filters clogged from the constant dust and pollen in the air, and run lines for new construction homes going up in the suburbs. Technicians check for leaks in older systems that have taken years of wear from the moist Gulf air, and they balance airflow so no rooms stay stuffy while others freeze. When big storms hit and knock out power, they help get things back online fast to avoid mold growth in the damp conditions that follow. Regular maintenance calls focus on cleaning coils and testing thermostats before the worst weather arrives each season.
Airfield earns solid marks because folks note how quick they respond when an AC quits in the middle of summer, how the work holds up without callbacks, and how costs stay reasonable compared to others around town. Communication stays straightforward with updates on what needs fixing and why. The result shows in repeat calls from the same neighborhoods when the next season rolls around. What Customers Say
“Small, efficient and clean airport. The staff is super friendly—shout out to Brad for making my travel day. Everything about flying out of here—from parking to take off felt so peaceful and well organized.”
“Easy unloading and loading, plenty of parking, it was very busy so get there at least one hour before flight time. Security outside on patrol keeps your parked vehicles safe and all Southwest Airlines personnel are very efficient, effective and friendly. Fly Southwest and get there on time. Midland International Airport is very well kept, bathrooms are kept clean. For the most dependable time-line Airlines fly Southwest Airlines, they will get you there ontime 99% of the time weather permitting.”
“My favorite airport. I get in, get my luggage and boarding passes taken care of (I prefer the human interaction) and through the TSA in less than 30 minutes total every single time I travel. They do have kiosks if you prefer. I've used them and it was a good experience.”
“Flew in from Dallas and somehow my bag made it before I did. I was informed I needed to see the baggage desk to claim my bag. Problem was, no signs indicating where to go AND nobody was manning the desk the airline had with the others. We (the other passengers on the flight) sat and waited for about an hour, before staff from the flight company we flew, came to help us. Most ridiculous experience I've had when trying to retrieve my bag. On top of that, the staff acted like we were inconveniencing them. Midland... figure it out! It's not difficult.”
“Airport is small but efficient, TSA is about how you would expect, but this post is not about the airport but the food. Please do not eat the airport burgers. Please. You will miss your flight because you’re on the toilet fighting for your life. Eat at your own risk and the risk of not making your flight if you’d like to mess around and find out.”
