About
C R Services is a company based in Dallas, Texas that focuses on HVAC work for local residents. Led by Cory Rablais, the outfit takes on various home service calls that come up in the area. They work on properties including short term rentals that need ongoing support. The heat in Dallas means air conditioning issues hit hard during summer months, and the company steps in for those along with related repairs. Customers have noted Cory handling tasks that involve checking equipment and replacing parts when needed. This setup suits folks looking for someone who can manage multiple properties without constant oversight.
Cory from C R Services gets called out for a variety of jobs in Dallas homes. One time he looked at a dead microwave and told the owners straight up to get a specialist for that brand instead of trying to fix it himself. Another job involved swapping out a mini water heater under the kitchen sink, which got the hot water flowing again. He also takes on remodeling work and installs like attic ladders, though those have had mixed results. For rental property owners, he provides support across weekdays and weekends, showing up to handle whatever comes up at the properties. Customers describe him arriving on time and communicating about the status of each task without leaving loose ends.
Some homeowners in Dallas praise Cory for clear communication and arriving on time to handle tasks at their properties without problems. They appreciate how he manages support for multiple short term rentals on busy schedules. However, other reviews point out serious issues like walking away from paid remodeling jobs and botched installs that left things crooked and required new workers to correct. The attic ladder setup was offset badly enough to damage foam insulation, and sheetrock work needed redoing. These patterns across the reviews lead to the current rating. DIRT Score 2.45 from 12 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I am another victim of Cory Rablais, C.R. Svcs. He bailed on remodeling after being paid in full. He said, he was almost finished and would be working fast to finish. He asked if I could pay the final amount which regrettably, I did. I'm reading some really bad reviews that echo what I experienced. He does not have the skills to be remodeling homes. As my project became more complicated he made many mistakes: broke granite counter by pulling a support out, laid and glued a vinyl floor with the wrong underlayment, I had to reorder all new flooring material and he still didnt get it right. He says he can paint wonderfully, so he chooses to spray and does not take the time to tape off well. Ive got dried paint on hardwood floors fixtures and cabinets. He is deceitful and dishonest, a wolf in sheep's clothing. He really likes the money and will say anything to get the job!”
“We own two short-term rentals and were looking for a reliable handyman who could provide support on both weekdays and weekends. Cory has been incredible! He communicates clearly, shows up on time, and always handles everything at our properties with no issues. We’re so grateful to have someone we can count on and highly recommend his services!”
“Initially, we ask Cory to check out our microwave that had just died. After inspecting it, he was upfront and said that we should contact a repairman that specializes in the brand we had. We appreciated that. We had a mini water heater (under kitchen sink) go out which he replaced and now works great. He also replaced outdoor and indoor lighting, and we were pleased with the results.”
“Attic ladder install was done horribly wrong. First, the attic ladder was secured above the sheetrock and it was so offset and crooked that they actually cut out some of the foam insulation to close the attic door. Second, the sheetrock work was very poor. The new handy man service I hired to fix this mess he made spent an entire day resetting the ladder, cutting and installing the trim correctly, texturing the ceiling and painting. The picture I am uploading below explains it! I texted him a couple of times after I went upstairs and saw his work. He never returned any of my texts and I never saw him again. Do not use this guy he has no idea what he is doing. It cost me double to fix his mistakes and clean up the mess he made.”
“Cory portrayed himself as an honest person. He subcontracted all the work we asked him to do and did not pay them. He lied to his subcontractors that he wasn’t paid by us after he was already paid $14,000 out of $17,500 contracted to renovate the interior and exterior of our home. One his subcontractors contacted us requesting proof of payment to Mr. Cory. He did not complete our project as promised and is still refusing to complete the remaining 2 projects in order to be paid the remaining $3,500 and reimbursement for items he purchased. He is now demanding an extra $5,000 plus above our signed contract and is now seeking legal action for lying to us. I wasn’t planning on leaving this of review but I have to warn the public of Mr. Cory and his organization. If you plan on using him, make sure you list everything you want him to fix, buy your own items and keep your receipts, have a signed contract with actual fees to avoid surprises from Mr. Cory. You have been warned.”
