Michael West A/C & Heating

Michael West A/C & Heating runs HVAC work out of New Braunfels, Texas. West Smith owns the family operation and brings fourteen years of experience. The crew handles both homes and commercial buildings, servicing and cleaning air conditioners along with heating units that include furnaces, gas and heat pump systems, and electric heat strips. They also install ductless mini splits, whole home air purifiers, and dehumidifiers while offering mold inspections and full remediation on HVAC equipment.

Homeowners bring them in when an old condenser needs swapping, dampers are wired wrong and causing issues, or a gas leak shows up during a service call. Others call after years of problems with a prior outfit and get a ten year old unit running steady again. Late night or holiday breakdowns get fixed the same day, clogged drain lines get cleared fast, and insulation that fell onto a coil gets taped back so pressures return to normal. Annual checks catch those hidden problems before they shut the system down.

West Smith and his partner Jordan answer calls around the clock every day, show up on time, and lay out the repair or install in plain terms. Quotes come back competitive, the work stays straightforward, and the crew keeps the area around New Braunfels covered without dragging things out. Reviewers note the crew communicates during the job and leaves the place clean once the unit is back in service.

The nine reviews average five stars with repeated mentions of fair pricing, honest dealings, and quick fixes on both repairs and replacements. DIRT Score 3.7 from 9 reviews on Finds.

“We Highly recommend West Air Systems LLC, New Braunfels, TX! Honest, fair, professional and local, owner/Family operated. West Smith and Jordan? we’re both friendly and efficient. Even helped me open vents I couldn’t reach! You will be so glad you chose them for your essential cooling system!”

“Had West come out to do my annual a/c checkup because of so many great reviews from my neighbors. He found strange coolant pressure readings and quickly discovered the insulation on the inside of the plenum had fallen off and covered the evaporator coil. Taped the insulation up and the pressures normalized. He has good troubleshooting skills, communicates well, on time and does a great job at a very fair price.”

“West and his team are the best. Very fairly priced services and super nice, honest, and communicative during repairs/installs! 10/10 would recommend!”
