Miculka Mechanical

Miculka Mechanical handles HVAC work in New Braunfels, Texas, and the surrounding area as a family-owned operation run by Clifton Miculka. The company takes on air conditioning repair and installation, heating services, heat pump work, mini-split systems, furnace repair and replacement, plus indoor air quality and zoning jobs. Clifton handles many of the service calls himself, and the crew covers both residential and commercial properties from their base at 7471 FM725. They keep regular hours from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon Monday through Friday.

Customers call them for heat pump replacements such as swapping an old unit for an Armstrong Pro Series system, same-day fixes on broken air conditioners, and honest evaluations when other outfits push new equipment. Clifton has helped with quick repairs that avoided extra parts or upsells, and the team has stepped in for older units during hot weather when prices from competitors ran high. Reviewers note he explained options clearly during sales visits and followed up after installations on questions like energy rebates. One job involved tightening connections left loose by prior technicians, and another covered a fair-price repair for a widowed customer instead of a full replacement.

They respond fast, with one customer reporting a tech on site within two hours of the first call. Pricing comes in well below other quotes in multiple cases, and communication stays straightforward without pressure tactics. Service stays limited to New Braunfels and Comal County, with the shop closed on weekends. Reviewers mention the work finishes on schedule with follow-up visits when needed to answer questions.

“ABSOLUTELY recommend, 100 times over! Very responsive, quick to schedule, explained everything to me, and went above and beyond to tighten up some stuff others worked on. The best parts? Issue fixed the same day, and his pricing was 1/3 of the cheapest quote I received prior. He didn't try to bamboozle me with nonsense or unnecessary work. Will definitely use in the future, should I need help again.”

“We recently replaced our old heat pump with a new Armstrong Pro Series heat pump system. Clifton Miculka was very informative and helpful throughout the sales process. The installation team did a great job - on time with quality workmanship, plus prompt follow-up to help with our questions related to local energy rebates. We highly recommend them. Thank you!”

“Clifton provided the best service at a very fair price when others just wanted to sell me a new unit. Clifton has many years of experience&knowledge! You can trust Miculka Mechanical, don't even bother calling the other guys!”

“This local business comes highly recommended by me. Clifton went out of his way to help a widowed friend of ours with her air-conditioning unit. Others just wanted to sell her things she didn’t need. He gave her an EXTREMELY honest price And did a great job. We need more local businesses like this”

“Absolutely wonderful service! The guys worked quickly and professional. I can not enough food about the experience I had with Miculka !”

“Clif and his team were great! I had the unfortunate situation of having my dinosaur AC go out and in need of replacement amid the sweltering south Texas heat all when the cost of everything is becoming unaffordable. Fortunately I was referred to Miculka Mechanical by a friend and was able to get a new unit, stellar service, and a great price.”
