About

Miguel Camacho A/C & Heating operates out of New Braunfels, Texas as a local HVAC outfit handling heating and cooling work for homes in the area. They focus on routine service calls, system repairs, and component replacements like motors and contactors. Homeowners in this part of Texas deal with hot summers that push units hard, and the company steps in for those maintenance and fix jobs that keep air moving. The crew shows up for standard tune ups where they check pressures and top off refrigerant when needed, though results have varied based on what customers report after the visits.

Technicians handle jobs such as replacing blower motors on older systems, swapping out bad contactors, and adding a couple pounds of refrigerant during a June service call. One tech visit left a system with an undetected hole that kept the house from cooling properly until another outfit found it. In other cases a blower motor got swapped in January one year then again the next, followed by a contactor failure months later. Customers like Jonathan Benak noted quick arrival and a solid fix on their issue, while others ended up with leaks causing ceiling damage in bathrooms and living rooms after a service, plus delays getting any callback from the owners.

Feedback shows spotty results on quality and follow through, with some jobs requiring repeat visits on the same parts and missed problems that led to extra costs for homeowners. Speed gets occasional nods when things line up right, but communication falls short when leaks or ongoing cooling failures need addressing, and price questions come up around short lived repairs. The pattern points to inconsistent outcomes across the fifteen reviews logged so far. DIRT Score 2.3 from 15 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

The most spectacular service experience yet in this town = thanks for the excellent work and prompt arrival and fix: THANK YOU!

Well, I sure hope I get at the very least a return phone call today from one of the owners or at least a manager. Had my HVAC serviced and have since had a leak resulting in water damage to ceiling in bathroom and living room. Called Friday morning and again today. . . I'm waiting until the end of today, then will need to take some other action to resolve this mess. Very disappointing as this company came very highly rated so I switched from my prior service company.

Will no longer be using this company!!! In Jan 2017 they replaced the blower motor , in Jan 2018 they replaced the blower motor, was their not a warranty? Or do they make the motors to only last a year, seems a little odd. Now October 2018 the contactor went bad the tech came to replace, once repaired I asked what the total cost would be and was told around $65. Today the bill comes for double the cost. After calling to explain the situation NO help was given. I was told the bill was correct! I feel like the least they could have done was discount the bill to what the tech said it would cost. This company does not know how to treat a long time paying customer!!!

We had our system service 6/27/2018. The technician added 2 pounds of refrigerant and said the system was fine. The house still was not cooling so I called another company thinking it was the theromstat. Only to discover that there is a hole on the system that the Quada Coma tech did not find. Or when he blew out the system he may have blown the duct work. When I called the office she did not seem interested in my issue. Obviously do not recommend this company and will not use them in the future. Very poor workmanship and customer service. The new tech spent over two hours looking at and repairing the hole in my system. The Quada Coma tech was here less than 30 minutes. He also had to add 2 pounds refrigerate which seems to me that the Quada Coma tech did not add the refrigerant that I was charged for. It seems I would have a major leak if my system used 2 pounds refrigerant in less than two weeks. Which I don't have a major leak because the system is cooling. Consequently if you use this company make sure you physically see the add whatever they are doing to charge for. Very disappointed.

This company is amazing! 2 winters ago my heater caught on fire and they rushed to fix the problem. They even sent a technician to San Antonio for parts so I would have to wait for it to be delivered being that the temps were dropping below freezing the next two days. Then last summer my AC went out and I called AirTran and they quoted me over $2000 to fix it and add Freon. I called Guadacoma and they came out the next day and it was only my thermostats. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.
