About

Aaron Ramirez A/C & Heating works out of Odessa, Texas, taking on HVAC repairs for homes and heavy vehicles alike in the Permian Basin. The crew deals with the extreme heat and dust that grind down air conditioning systems on trucks and cars, often stepping in when dealership waits drag on too long. They focus on practical fixes for lines, compressors, and related parts that fail under daily use in the oilfield and highway traffic around West Texas. Local operators and drivers count on them to keep equipment moving without unnecessary delays or markup on parts.

They handle busted HVAC lines on rigs like the Kenworth T680 by fabricating and installing replacements that get trucks back on the road the next morning. Vehicle work includes swapping compressors along with belts, expansion valves, and dryer elements on cars and trucks when those components give out. Jobs cover everything from emergency patches on big rigs to repeat visits for separate issues on the same equipment, with each round leaving the AC and heating systems running steady afterward. The shop emphasizes direct repairs that avoid full replacements unless truly needed, cutting costs while addressing the wear from constant exposure to high temperatures and road grime.

Customers highlight the fast turnaround on truck repairs and the fair prices that beat dealership rates by a wide margin. Quality shows up in systems that hold up after multiple visits for different problems, with reliable results on both AC lines and full component swaps. Speed and straightforward communication keep operators coming back even when other shops fall short on timing or results. This mix of practical fixes and consistent performance explains the overall rating despite a few lower marks on service approach. DIRT Score 4.05 from 62 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Had a busted HVAC line on a kenworth t680. These fellas rigged me up with a new line by the next morning. Saved me a significant amount of money and time, versus ordering through dealership. Worked perfectly and at a Fair price.

Absolutely the best A.C repair shop in the permian these people are professionals savvy in what they do i tried other places and got burned multiple times been here 4 times different issues and vehicles all 4 times a.c and equipment running great!!

If I could give a quarter star I would. For starters the owner is a joke of an individual and when I called him out on it after picking up my son’s car he said he was just joking. Basically my son’s compressor went out and him and I replaced it along with the belts expansion valve and dryer element and two weeks later the evaporator core sprung a leak. I, not having time to tear a dash out decided to take it in for repairs. To a business I have used for years for my fleet vehicles, and never again going forward. When my wife and son dropped his car off the owner, Mike stated he was going to charge us more because we had touched the system and then I was I competent for even attempting to repair and AC, which in funny because I have been a true mechanic for almost 20 years and was just trying to help a local business. Long story short I took my personal and all my fleet vehicles going forward elsewhere. Mike if you read this learn how to appreciate your customers at all costs. You never know the ripple effects it may have on your bottom line.

The negative reviews were right! I walked in to get some work done but apparently I need to do most of it before I take it in lol, kinda defeats the purpose. Terrible service.

They found the problem and fixed my AC. Thanks for being available and upfront with cost of repairs!
