George Torma A/C & Heating
HVAC Contractor · Palestine, TX
About
George Torma A/C & Heating runs out of Anderson County, Texas, based right in Palestine at 312 N Perry St. They focus on HVAC work for local homes, handling Bryant systems for installs, repairs, and regular upkeep. The area sees long hot summers and sudden winter cold spells that push equipment hard, so the crew stays ready for calls on both cooling and heating problems. Homeowners rely on them for straightforward service that keeps air moving and temperatures steady without unnecessary delays or added costs.
They send techs to fix AC units and furnaces when they quit, such as tracing a circuit board failure on a combined system right before a freeze or checking pressures on a heat pump and adding refrigerant to clear cloudy sight glasses. New AC installations get done with quality Bryant equipment, finished in a week or less at prices that stay reasonable. Annual maintenance visits catch issues early to avoid breakdowns, while follow-up calls from Mr. Torma confirm the work holds up. Billing often comes after the job rather than upfront, and two-man crews handle full system outages with direct fixes that restore comfort fast.
Homeowners note the fast response when heat or cool air stops working, paired with effective repairs and prices that fit normal budgets. Communication helps too, with the owner reaching out after service to check results. Quality shows in completed installs and tune-ups that keep systems running through tough weather, even when a few checks need extra steps. Speed scores highest in feedback, reflecting how the crew gets to jobs and finishes without dragging things out. DIRT Score 4.32 from 29 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Terribly disappointed. This company has ALWAYS been fantastic until this experience. My furnace and air conditioning went out right before the winter cold spell. They sent 2 techs out and they did a fantastic job. They concluded it was my circuit board. I explained to Mr Torma that I wasn't in a position to replace my whole unit so he gave me the parts number to order a circuit board and that they could come install it. My son ended up installing it, but something still isn't right so I called the office, paid my bill and explained that I still needed someone to come out. I waited all week because I explained it wasn't an emergency. I just got a call back that "they are too busy to help me". So sad because I am all about taking care of small business and local.”
“They were fast. Repairs done quickly, effectively and reasonably priced. Mr. Torma called the next few days later to make sure everything was working well. And they didn't collect up front, just billed me later. You don't find this kind of service anymore. I highly recommend them.”

“My go for ac / heat repair. But last time for them sent tech out for check up tech had gages on unit ( gage glasses weren’t there broke) he said pressures look good I ask about sight glass being cloudy he said he would try to clear. He had what he said was a lb of Freon and said he needed to go get more. Well after he said it took 5 lbs and sight glass didn’t clear I was charged 420.00 and my unit don’t seem to be heat as hood now. Well I learned a lesson no more for thi company Thanks for nothing!”
“Fantastic service. Heath is one of the best AC Techs I've worked around. Mr. Torma has an amazing team.”
