“Johnnie Brock's is a Halloween gem that you have to visit at least once if you are in the Saint Louis area. They have THE most extensive selection of costumes (literally thousands) of any place I've ever been to, as well as props, masks, and other add-ons. They do have limited decor as well: animatronics, blow molds, paper hangs, and some surface decor; however, with their store being as big as it is, I would really like to see this area expanded. On the downside, over the last 4 years, I've been noticing a decline in quality. Much of the decor and props are starting to look cheaper and more generic, and I don't think any of it is original. Last year, we picked up an 8 foot giant hanging bat. This year, a near entire wall of generic skeletons replaced the area where they normally sold the outdoor decor. I think Dungeon would benefit tremendously from selling exclusive Halloween decor. On top of that, I was asked 7 times in 20 minutes if I needed help with anything. One guy asked me twice within a period of 3 minutes. That kind of annoying activity almost always makes me subtract a star. I'll be back every year as a Halloween tradition, but it saddens me to see where they are going with it.”

“I needed big feather wings and a fez hat in a time crunch... where else could I achieve such a shop then Johnnie Brocks! Helped in a pinch, git exactly what I needed and for less then I expected! Love this place.”

“This place is really great from Halloween costumes to high-end costumes that you can use throughout the year at places like Ren fares or other big events. It is 100% awesome. I wish I had something like this in my town. They have everything from the campy Halloween decorations to the high-end stuff and the staff is really friendly and incredibly helpful. You can tell they're people that are creative and interested in making magic happen”

“If you haven't been to Johnnie Brocks, you're definitely missing out on a party for your senses. Yes, they have Halloween costumes, but they also have merch for St. Paddy's Day, Christmas, and Mardi Gras. The residents of Dolan Memory Care Homes love visiting and rarely leave without picking up a few items. Spirit stores can't compare. Highly Recommend!”

“As a girl that loves spooky all year round I loved finally stopping in here!!! The staff was incredibly helpful and nice with any questions we had too! Can’t wait to come back!!! It is kinda pricey but it’s is also out of season and super convenient for any type of theme out fit accessories you need.”
