“We had a great experience with Austin from Slocum A/C and Heating. He was exceptional from start to finish, taking the time to address all of our concerns and explain every step he was doing on our units. It’s rare to find someone so knowledgeable and thorough. We highly recommend them for any A/C and heating needs!”

“VERY disappointed in the “affordable pricing” Slocum advertises as it’s a JOKE! Yes, the technician was prompt, respectful and resolved the A/C issue but buyer beware it will break the bank. They don’t hand you an invoice once service is complete because they don’t want you to have anything to say to the technician about the absurd pricing, no they text you an invoice now. Never have I ever thought changing a battery in my thermostat control would cost $265 and I even had to supply the battery. Less than 30minutes at my home and the cost is more than a visit to a specialist MD. Today, my daughter used them as she has in the past to drain the overflow A/C pan and last year this job cost $150 BUT this year now cost is over $500, almost $600. Again less than an hour at the home and the technician is charging absurd pricing. Yes, she called and the office lady said the owner and technician both agree this was too complex of a job to charge any less. THIS “COMPLEX” job can be done by my 13 yr old son but he wasn’t available on this day so I had my daughter call for service not knowing it would break the bank for my parents on a fixed income while I (being busy) bring my Mother home from the hospital. I have to say thank you Slocum for showing us we need to find a different HVAC company to service the homes at our farm. I am happy to pay for good service but I will NOT BE ROBBED! -TWO Very Disappointed Customers that will not call again!”

My air was out all weekend, I called my home warranty and they sent out Elite Heating and Air, they took pictures and told me I have a mold problem and it was going to cost me $900 to get it cleaned before they would even do the repair, which would take a week to get done. I decided to get a second opinion, James sent someone out the same day, told me there is no mold problem, was able to replace the fan motor and had everything working within an hour!
