“I would give 10 stars if I could! They literally saved me $6,000 easily!!!! To say we had an AC issue is putting it lightly. We called Allen’s as a 4th opinion. (YES, 4th!) Figured their service call charge was extremely reasonable and it wouldn’t hurt to try one more before purchasing a brand new unit, as every other company had ended up suggesting. We have a 6 year old unit and couldn’t believe that replacing it was the only thing we could do, but it had STUMPED everyone else until Phillip and Chris came. Phillip took a ton of time trying to solve this and used every resource available over 2 separate visits to sort through a baffling situation. They ultimately were able to get information from Daikin that the manufacturer had the wrong model number in their app that is used to load data to the boards and it was causing the board to constantly read the wrong thing. (Best summary I can give without completely understanding how the unit works etc.) Something that was extremely challenging to stumble upon and almost cost us a whole new unit. Most importantly, beyond solving the mystery, this whole company was EXCELLENT with communication, EXCELLENT with their professionalism, EXCELLENT with pricing and extremely fair about they had to do and what I was charged. I even recommended them to a neighbor who was told by multiple other companies to buy a new $12,000 unit and they estimated needing about $2,000 worth of work instead. They have ABSOLUTELY earned my trust and I will recommend them highly to anyone looking for service, maintenance or anything relating to their AC. Outstanding experience for having to deal with the type of stuff nobody really wants to deal with.”
