About

Unitedone Mechanical works out of Dallas, Texas, and sticks to HVAC jobs with a heavy focus on geothermal systems. Their crew has handled these setups for years, including ones put in two decades back by companies that no longer exist. Names like Mateo, Frank, and Tony show up again and again on jobs where old equipment needs attention. Dallas homeowners reach out when the loops or units start failing in the Texas heat, and the team steps in with the kind of hands-on experience that comes from fixing the same systems over time.

They handle full replacements on Water Furnace geothermal setups that cover both the house and pool heaters, along with regular service calls to keep compressors and lines running. Mateo arrives on site, inspects every part, and lays out the options before any work starts so nothing catches the owner off guard. Frank picks up the phone and pulls from memory on old installs to speed up the first visit. Tony stays on the same accounts for years, checking units and making adjustments without cutting corners. In Dallas, these calls often mean dealing with worn loops or controls that have taken a beating from summer loads and sudden weather swings.

Homeowners note the crew shows up ready, explains the fixes in plain terms, and leaves the job site clean once the system is back online. Knowledge on geothermal stands out when other outfits turn the work down, and the installs finish without dragging on or creating new problems. Service stays steady on equipment that has run for twenty years, with clear updates along the way and fair charges for what gets done. Speed helps when the heat hits hard, and the results hold up without callbacks. DIRT Score 3.27 from 17 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Mateo is the BEST! From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we understood our options before moving forward. The service was prompt, efficient, and top-tier. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. As a Realtor, it’s very important for me to have trusted vendors, and Mateo not only services my personal HVAC needs but also takes great care of my clients. That says everything. It’s hard to find reliable HVAC companies these days, but Mateo and his team consistently exceed expectations. If you’re looking for honest, quality HVAC service, I highly recommend them. Following a series of bad luck, I was fortunate to be connected to Texas United Mechanical, LLC--geothermal. Frank, who answers their phone, had actually worked with the now defunct company that had installed my geothermal system 20yrs ago and remembered the location of my home. He got his expert pipe/pump person JASON, on the job quickly. The problem stemmed from my pool demo and filling in January which inadvertantly broke geothermal lines at the periphery of the pool. What followed was MONTHS of deteriorating AC function that was initially misdiagnosed. Jason identified the issue, and with more heavy excavating equipment required, 8 broken lines were found and repaired. Throughout the process, I was dubious that a repair was forthcoming and had increasing anxiety with the warmer weather coming and potential $$$$ for alternate fixes. As it was, there were already days of uncomfortable heat and humidity without AC. True to his word, Jason was able to get the system back up and running. To date, we have had nearly a week of functioning AC! --A million THANKS go out to the team for improving our quality of life in Houston.

If you have a geothermal system, these are the guys to call. They are the most knowledgeable that I have found in the Houston area when it comes to Geothermal. I recently hired them to replace my entire system, and they made the entire process easy and painless. Their install was quick and clean... even better than I expected. They took care of all the little details like registering the warranty and making sure all the new duct work was well sealed. I will be using them to maintain my system going forward.

We have had a Water Furnace Geothermal system for about twenty years. It was installed by Tony Johnson's dad. The system includes two units for the house and a pool heater. Tony has serviced the system the entire time. He is very knowledgeable and conscientious and practices great customer service. He is one of the original employees of the new TUM Service organization in Austin. He has done two things for us since joining TUM. He installed an Aprilaire system in our attic in conjunction with us having the attic spray foamed. He replaced the original pool heater. In both instances, a quote was provided promptly and once the parts came in, Tony installed them promptly. We will also have them do our Spring and Fall maintenance. Of course, a company is not just one person. I have been impressed with the way the Austin branch has handled service requests and provided quotes and invoices. If one of my friends in Austin was considering a Geothermal system, I would overwhelmingly encourage them to talk to TUM.

These guys are the best in the city. Our system needed serious work as we move into the summer months, and we found Texas United Mechanical to be the most knowledgeable, responsive, and trustworthy company to work with. Highly recommend for any geothermal work/maintenance.
