Royal Mechanical Inc
HVAC Contractor · Pflugerville, TX
About
Royal Mechanical Inc operates as an HVAC outfit based in Dallas, TX. They focus on heating and cooling work across commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, handling everything from full system installs to ongoing maintenance on air conditioning units and heating equipment. The notes show they also cover refrigeration, sheet metal work, piping, ventilation, and plumbing services. With staff available for 24/7 emergency calls, they take on unexpected breakdowns in homes and larger facilities alike. Common jobs include getting old systems running again during hot Texas summers or setting up new setups in warehouses and offices where reliable temperature control matters for daily operations.
Their work centers on installing new HVAC units, repairing ducts that fail under stress during those jobs, and keeping older equipment going without constant callbacks. Reviews mention cases like a new unit install where a duct got damaged and later blew out, leading to follow up requests that hit a wall over diagnostic fees once any warranty period ended. Other jobs involve appointment windows that crews miss without notice or calls, and one review notes a driver from the company waving a handgun on the road. On the positive side, Israel and his crew get credit for showing up fair and honest on repairs that hold up, maintaining old air conditioners so they last longer without extra costs.
Customers point to repeated issues with no-shows on scheduled visits and pushback on fixes after installation problems, which drags down marks for communication and professionalism. Speed and price get mixed notes depending on the job, while quality holds in cases where the team completes work right the first time without follow up needs. Overall the pattern shows reliability gaps that affect trust on bigger projects. DIRT Score 3.16 from 20 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Very unprofessional and have no respect for their customers. I have made two appointments with these folks and they did not arrive either time in the two hour window given. First time no call or text. Second time called after an hour and 45 minutes and said he was sitting at my gate and I had 5 minutes or he was leaving. Since I was working outside not far from my front gate I could see the wide open gate and no vehicle there. When I called they basically accused me of lying saying the gate was closed and he sat there and then left I even got in my truck and drove down there and filmed that the gate was wide open. Then they accused me of cursing at whoever was on the phone which I did not nor would I ever do and that was the last straw. In a professional world when someone makes a mistake they should apologize and see what can be done to amend the situation not childishly accuse their customer~ who does know what’s going on at their house- of lying ! “Be careful if you see these guys on the road. I passed by one of their trucks today and the driver was waving a handgun around while driving on East 7th. Better not cut them off!”
“During installation of a new unit, a duct was stressed and later blew out. Called company to ask for a repair and the phone representative refused to even have the conversation without sending a guy out with a $200 diagnostic fee, as the “maintenance” warranty is expired. Being that a duct damaged during installation is not a maintenance item, there are still 8.5 years remaining on the work. The representative repeatedly interrupted and made sales pitches. The installation looks like it was well done for the most part, but if the company’s warranty is a part of what you are interested in, know this: they WILL NOT HONOR IT. If something goes wrong due to their work, you’re better off hiring someone else than calling them out.”
“Israel and his team are just plain awesome! They always come through, fair, honest and do great work! They'll stand by their work...but there hasn't been a need for that for me, as it's always done right the first time ! Finally, an A/C company you can rely on. They keep my old system going, when it comes time for a new one to be put in with that big expense down the road... you can bet I'll be calling Royal Air Mech, plus they're right here in Pflugerville.”
“Never use this company. I was originally promised a 5 ton for my upstairs that I wanted replaced because I had been given too small of a unit. Then they told me it would be a 3.5 ton. It turned out to be a 3 ton and although I have a new unit it does the same as my old unit. Now I’m having to pay over 10k for nothing. It won’t change my electric bill. It only stays the same. These people are trash. Never ever use them.”
