What Customers Say
“Jesse and Brian combine decades of experience with hard work and a client first attitude. He was willing to diagnose our issue with a no pressure approach, and when we needed freon he came out immediately to keep us cool. We weren’t ready for a replacement and he did not pressure us. When we compared replacement costs months later, he also did not pressure us. In fact, he was willing to talk himself out of the job. When we decided to choose to go with CES, Jesse and Brian spent long hours in the worst heat wave in our attic to get a unique and difficult job done right. Briannhad experience that dates back 39 years and this knowledge solved a complex mess we have had in our very old home since we lived here. The other big companies did not want to tKe this risk and the cost for them going the obvious way was twice what we ended up spending. I am glad we trusted Brian and Jesse, they saved us so much and they put a cadillac Ac Heat Pump in our old home that put out some of the best temperature differentials and pressures they have ever seen. We should have done this so long ago. They did not charge us after hours or weekend, they were fair, honest, answered every question and proved their knowledge. They even were careful nit to trample a single sunflower! Our family thanks Jesse and Brian and wish them all the best!”
“DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!! I used these guys based on a referral from a contractor. They installed a brand new furnace and a brand new outdoor A/C unit. The first red flag is shown in the first picture I included. We were supposed to get a brand new outdoor unit and they tried to hustle us at first with a scratch and dent unit which I of course refused and demanded that I get the new unit as I paid for. They did end up installing a new unit, but when turning on my A/C for the very first time, the air was barely cool and the house was sitting at 78 degree hours after turning on the air. We reported the issue for weeks and it has been over 25 days now since our brand new unit was installed yet has never worked other than the first night it was installed. Our first response when asking to be put on their calendar to diagnose the issue initially was “billable customers come first…”!? Apparently paid in full customers come absolutely last and over a month later. Our contractor that recommended CES Energy mentioned that the reason the unit isn’t working could be as simple as the thermostat being bad. Because of the relentless outreach for weeks from myself with little to no communication back from Will or Jesse (the owners), we had a certified technician with over 1000 4+ star google reviews diagnose the thermostat. The technician verified that the thermostat worked perfectly fine. They then walked outside with me to immediately point out what seems to be a huge oil/coolant stain underneath the unit that was not there prior to the install. We reported this information back to CES Energy and they threatened us that they are not doing the work now because “I’m not allowed to have anyone diagnose the thermostat.” This is the type of people you will be dealing with folks. Read the 1 star reviews, they are the real ones. I can and will provide proof of any and all info included above if anyone is on the fence of using them.”
“Do not use this company without reading the 1-star reviews. We wish we had. - They never showed up in their stated time frames. Every company we have ever had previously, and the one who fixed this mess have all showed up within the window. - Jesse acted as if coming out at all was a favor to us, instead of a job they were being hired for - Misdiagnosed the problem and made two repairs that did nothing to impact the situation (even though we had asked them right off the bat about the part that actually turned out to be the problem) - Left us without a valid solution on a night that fell to 6 degrees outside - Refused to respond to multiple attempts at communication the next day, until *after* we had brought out a second opinion and chosen to use that company instead - Ranted at us via text about having been “fired halfway through the job” when the entire first day was spent not communicating honestly, not diagnosing correctly, and then not making the correct repair - Jacked up the price of the invoice “because they were fired”, while still white-knighting about how generous they were - Changed the invoice a third time (back down to the original overprice) after I called them out on the raised price - When I held my ground proving that they had line items listed on the invoice for parts that they would be paid for by warranty, and that labor was listed as a separate item for only $150, they decided to reword the invoice a fourth time to make it look like the only thing they did was give us free parts and charge us for labor. - I have pictures of the invoices and all text communications - We paid them the original asking price in protest, just so that we never have to see them again. In short, they came in like they were amazing and then were completely unprofessional and a bad choice. Save yourself the pain. Find a better company.”
“Jesse and Brian were here a total of 3 hours. From tear out to install. Everything went very smoothly and I would recommend this company to literally anybody. I have no complaints about the job, timely, and they cleaned up after themselves. Top notch provider.”
