“I called to have someone take a look and diagnose my HVAC that was going out. I knew there was a possibility of needing a new one altogether. I paid the service fee for him to come out and he said it was the capacitor. That with the insulation and service fee cost over $400. He couldn't check to see if it worked because my unit was frozen and he had another appointment. He came back the next morning and it still wasn't working. So they said I needed a new unit. The sales guy came out and quoted me. I asked about a refund for the capacitor and he said they would give a credit towards the new one. Well their prices were WAY higher than their competitors so I chose to go with a competitor that was thousands cheaper (apples to apples quote). So I asked for a refund on the capacitor that was never used because it wasn't the issue and was told no, that they would only credit towards a new (overpriced) unit. So basically they misdiagnosed and charged me for that. I thought they would be great up until their pricing and refusal to make things right.”
