One Call
HVAC Contractor · Plano, TX
About
One Call operates out of Galveston Texas where they focus on HVAC services for homes across the island and surrounding areas. The local climate brings intense summer heat combined with constant humidity and salt air exposure that speeds up corrosion on coils and outdoor units. Homeowners regularly face systems that lose cooling power or fail to control moisture during peak months. The company fields service requests for air conditioning repairs heating tune ups and full system checks to handle these conditions. Their work centers on getting equipment back online quickly when the weather turns extreme and indoor comfort becomes a priority for residents dealing with older homes and beachside properties.
Technicians like Crystal assist with complicated requests that involve multiple steps and coordination while Katlyn has spent extended time walking customers through processes even after errors occur such as turning in twenty one tickets over three hours without frustration. Reviews note how staff remain calm during intricate situations and guide people through the entire sequence until everything gets sorted including portal issues and login problems that affect scheduling. This approach covers the range of HVAC related calls that come in from the area where projects often require careful tracking to avoid delays on jobs like unit replacements or line work.
Customers consistently praise the speed at which issues get resolved the quality of the fixes and the clear communication throughout each job along with fair pricing that matches the work performed. These points show up across many reviews for the same reasons time after time. DIRT Score 4.89 from 220 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“811 is a third party call center, they send a notice to the companies, they hire a third party USIC or another third party, and those another third party. You get random people and no one is accountable or traceable. In today's world that's unacceptable. They have no name, no company identification, and no uniform or professional attire to identify who they are with. This is one side, the customer only side held accountable. This can be improved! Just like there are records in the county/citt office;for each neighborhood plan/plot, underground lines should plans should be available there as well or an online database.”
“Crystal was incredibly helpful in assisting me with a complicated 811 dig request. She was patient, kind, and took the time to walk me through each step. Despite the complexity of the situation, she remained calm and professional the entire time and ultimately got everything sorted out. Her support made a frustrating process much easier. Truly appreciate her help!”
“Katlyn, thank you for making my ticket process enjoyable! She Worked with me for three hours and never complained and even when I messed up, she didn’t tell me to hang up and call back whenever I figured it out she walked me through it and I turned in 21 tickets and typically I hate doing this stuff and she made it enjoyable so thank you very much. You rock and you deserve a raise.”
“I've been experiencing issues with the Texas811 portal since it's been updated. Page is blank once I'm finally able to successfully login, and also there is no longer any app to be found, and calling is difficult as my projects are usually intricate. I've almost never had a successful ticket experience, and my career depends on this service functioning correctly. I've contacted support, etc, no help. We've been fighting this problem for quite some time, and now it's impacting our ability to do our job here. Please address this, it doesn't matter where we try to login from, which account we use, if we create a new account, access from outside our location, etc, just doesn't work. I bring up our issue every single time I call and it always seems to be a surprise to whoever I'm speaking with, like nobody else has complained before, and I'm transferred to a voicemail to complain. Not sure what else to do, I'm resorting to posting this kind of matter online and trying to message social media 811 accounts regarding this. We're frustrated and out of options. Maybe someone can respond to me here and suggest I clear my cookies and try again. Thanks! Also, the phone technicians are always nice but it seems they're coached to avoid questions, cannot get a confirmation or denial that there is even an app available anymore. What's the deal. UPDATE: Managed to get a response after posting this review, thanks!”
