Owen Furniture Co operates from Polk County, TX as an HVAC provider that also stocks reliable appliances and related home equipment for local residents. The business emphasizes durable options like Speed Queen units that stand up to daily use in Texas conditions, drawing from a selection ready for quick delivery or installation. Homeowners in the area often deal with equipment failures due to heat and heavy loads, and this company steps in with stock on hand plus flexible financing plans that help families replace worn systems without long delays. Their approach keeps things straightforward for those who have cycled through multiple short-lived machines before finding better-built alternatives.

Customers turn to them for HVAC service calls and appliance swaps that involve specific units such as Speed Queen washers, where technicians confirm expected lifespans of twenty-five years versus five for lesser brands. In one case a homeowner contacted them after repeated failures and found the needed model in stock, allowing the full purchase and setup to move fast from the first call onward. Another job saw the owner and a technician named Norris stay in contact after a unit issue arose a year later, arranging fixes and follow-up until everything worked properly again. Delivery teams handle removal of old equipment on site, while staff like Holly assist with selections that fit immediate household needs such as support for elderly family members.

Work quality, response speed, fair pricing, and communication all receive top marks from reviewers who note professional handling and useful guidance throughout each project. These consistent strengths show up whether the job is a same-day washer replacement or longer-term support after the initial install. Homeowners mention the ease of reaching the right people and getting clear answers without extra costs or runaround. DIRT Score 4.38 from 90 reviews on Finds.

“We have had to purchase new washing machines way too often. Finally took advice of our repairman and went to Owen Furniture to by a Speed Queen - American made. The entire process was very quick and easy. From the moment that I called and found out they had the particular unit in stock all the way through the delivery - they were helpful in explaining things and could have even delivered the next day (we were not available). It made me proud to support local and buy a dependable product. Professional and caring! We are absolutely new customers but no doubt we will be going back for a recliner that my Husband cannot stop talking about. Last thing, was the price was amazing. We paid less than I expected and truly thankful for that!”

“We bought speed Queen washer. They have great service & a high quality product. Service man for old washer told us will last 25 years, opposed to all other brands that last 5 years.”

“Owen’s Furniture provided us with the best experience ever! Within minutes of walking in the store Holly helped us pick out a couch for my elderly aunt and it was delivered within hours of the purchase! The delivery guys were very professional and kind! They hauled off the previous couch and got the new one in (mind you it had to be brought in to a tight fit RV) quickly! The best customer service all the way around!”

“I made a purchase at Owens Furniture a little over a year ago and I had a little bit of trouble with it just this past week and I just wanted to say I got great service from the owner and Norris. They kept in touch with me and we’re very helpful and made sure I was taken care of. I would highly recommend them.”

“I needed to replace my bedroom carpet. Initially, I wanted to use wood plank flooring. I learned that due to the type of skirting around the house; there is not enough circulation to use wood plank flooring. It could be done, but the guarantee on the planks could probably not be honored. In the end, we replaced our old carpet for new carpeting. Owen's flooring team did a wonderful job with the installation. I'm so grateful that they were honest about the flooring. The carpet, including installation, was far less than the wood flooring. I would recommend that you go see them for your flooring needs.”
