Jungle Cat Heating & Cooling

Jungle Cat Heating & Cooling operates out of Prescott Valley, TX as a straight HVAC outfit handling heating and cooling needs across the area. They bring more than 45 years of hands-on work fixing and setting up systems for homes in this part of Texas where summer heat hits hard and winter cold snaps still show up. The crew focuses on real repairs and installs rather than flashy promises, showing up to tackle units that break down from dust buildup or age. Homeowners around here know the drill with these conditions, and this company sticks to the basics of keeping air moving properly through the ducts without overcomplicating the job.

They handle heater repairs when furnaces quit during a freeze, air conditioner fixes for units that stop blowing cold in the peak of summer, and regular maintenance tune-ups to catch problems before they leave a house sweltering or freezing. New air conditioner installations and heater setups get done with same-day estimates, and they respond to calls within 24 hours to keep things moving. Mini split systems get attention too for homes that need zoned cooling without full ductwork. Price matching keeps costs in line with competitors while they offer ten percent off for seniors, military, veterans, and first responders. In Prescott Valley the work often means dealing with sandy soil that clogs filters fast and long stretches of sun that wear out compressors, so the team plans jobs around those realities to avoid repeat visits.

Customers keep coming back because the work holds up without constant callbacks, responses come fast when something fails, and bills stay reasonable compared to bigger outfits. Quality shows in the way they sort out specific issues like leaking coils or weak airflow instead of pushing full replacements every time. Communication stays clear on what needs fixing and how long it will take, which lines up with the solid marks across speed and price. That steady performance adds up over time in a trade where shortcuts show up quick in the heat. DIRT Score 4.18 from 266 reviews on Finds.

“Jungle Cat replaced our 8 year old AC unit quickly and professionally. The team explained everything clearly, provided a fair quote, and completed the install in one day with minimal mess. Our home cools evenly and quietly now, and our energy bills are already lower. Nick and Aaron were skilled technicians and did a great job—highly recommend!”

“When my mom’s swamp cooler stopped working, we decided it was time for an upgrade and opted for a mini-split system. This company was absolutely fantastic! They provided a quick, fair estimate and were able to start the installation right away. Thanks to their fast work, my mom's A/C was up and running just in time for the summer heat. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable HVAC services!”

“Jungle Cat inspected and repaired our improperly installed duct work, vents, improved our air flow throughout, and installed a new thermostat. Matt, Nic, and their associate were very professional, courteous, and explained all work done thoroughly. The communication was excellent, timely, and all at a very fair cost. I highly recommend Jungle Cat for HVAC service and repairs. Thank You!”

“I always get really anxious when it comes to trusting contractors with our historic home, and especially with a big, expensive job like fitting the entire house with duct work, new heating, and cooling. Jungle Cat came highly recommended by our realtor, so we decided to give them a shot. Matt came out to do our estimate and he was kind, knowledgeable, and explained the entire process to us clearly. The estimate he gave us was more than fair. The installation went smoothly, and these guys busted their butts - worked through lunch for a 12 hour day on a Friday - to get us air conditioning for the hot weekend. The crew was respectful to us, to our home, and to each other. I highly recommend Jungle Cat and we are very happy we decided to hire them.”

“The team was absolutely top-notch from start to finish. They were the most knowledgable, professional, and caring team that I have ever experienced. Truly exceptional work that I would highly recommend to anyone needing new HVAC work or repairs. Thank you to everyone at Jungle Cat!”

“I found them to be very friendly and helpful with working us in to their busy schedule. The owner, Matt, came out and did the repair himself. I find them to be very trustworthy, honest, and reasonably priced. You don't have to worry about being gouged or taken advantage of. I highly recommend them.”

“I had Matt, owner of Jungle Cat, come out and inspect my heating and cooling unit that was a roof mounted unit and had hail damage. Repairs were not possible and the insurance company agreed to a replacement unit. For my needs, Matt recommended a Goodman 3.5-ton unit and quoted a price. It was agreed upon and the work was scheduled. The installation crew came out on time and very professionally working as a coordinated team prepared the old unit for the crane removal and implementation of the replacement unit. I was impressed how well the installation team worked together and did an outstanding installation job. Very helpful and knowledgeable. No mess, no fuss. I did have to have some roof shingles replaced due to the installers having to install a new frame since we changed brands. Every”

“Matt come out and gave us an Estimate for a Mini Split A/C system. His price was the best of three estimates I got. He and his son, Nick, Aaron all came out to install our unit. They all did a great job installing our unit and made sure it worked correctly before they left. Everything was installed with high perfection and they cleaned up everything before they left. We would highly recommend Jungle Cat to anyone needing heating or A/C system or Service.”
