“Checked out the Texas Wendish Heritage Museum during my work retreat and learned about the Wendish people and their journey to Texas in the 1800s. It was really interesting to see how they preserved their culture, traditions, and faith. I also got to try traditional Wendish noodles and visit the historic painted church nearby, which was beautiful and unique. Such a cool experience learning more about local Texas history—here are a few of my favorite pics from the visit.”
