“!!!BEWARE...THESE FOLKS ARE SHYSTERS!!! I hired Tri-Point Refrigeration in Hutto, TX to perform diagnostic work on a failed compressor for a compressed air dryer. This required one technician, but they sent two technicians and billed accordingly, making the bill exorbitant. When I brought this to the attention of Melissa Gutierrez (Director of Operations), she stated that she would bring a check by for the extra amount charged due to the unnecessary technician, which I thought was honorable at the time. This was over a week ago, Melissa did not follow thru and has been ghosting me ever since. It's laughable how Tri-Point Refrigeration quotes the bible on their website, but they don't walk the walk. "Thou shalt not steal" is the 8th commandment, but I'm not sure they're aware, which leads me to the following. Matthew 7:15-20 (KJV/ESV): "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits."”

“We had a problem with our Scotsman ice machine and I called Tri- Point and they sent a technician (Steve) over to assess. At first he thought it was only a bearing failure, but when he continued deeper into the machine we found a degraded auger. Thankfully the machine was still under warranty and parts were covered. We had to pay for the labor. I’m very happy with the service we received. Abigail was very good at communicating the status of everything. I’m disappointed that our ice machine had a major issue being less than 2 years old. At least it is repaired now and functioning well.”

“I called on 12/29/25 to see if this establishment was able to help with replacing a refrigeration unit, used to make a cooler section in a cargo trailer. I operate a mobile food business and we fly into Texas to do special events. I was first told that it couldn't be done because my team needed to drop this off on New Year's Day and no one would be there that day. This is understandable. I then asked about 1/2/2026, to which I was told that no one would be there that day either. I then offered to buy a flight for the following Friday (1/9/2026) and drop it off when someone was there. I was then told that this would still be an issue because after the repair, they would only hold the unit on site for 30 days. To this I responded, "That's fine, I will just get another flight after it is repaired and pick it up within that time frame". I was then told that there was no guarantee that they could have a new unit placed by the time I would need it (March 5, 2026...two months away). I then asked if they knew of anyone else in the area who would be willing/capable of taking this on. To this I was told that they don't refer people elsewhere. This was the most run around, unhelpful encounter I have ever had with a business. To think that I was rearranging my schedule, and willing to take two flights down (drop off and pick up) to try and make this work, only to hear excuse after excuse and why they couldn't get the job done. These guys don't want the business...take yours elsewhere!”
