FREDDIE ROOD HEATING & COOLING, INC.

Freddie Rood Heating & Cooling, Inc. is based in Russellville, Texas where they focus on HVAC work for local homes. The company takes on heating and cooling jobs that come up in this part of the state. Summers here get brutal with high heat and humidity that push air conditioners to their limits. Winters bring enough cold to require reliable furnaces. They deal with the everyday breakdowns that hit when systems run nonstop through the seasons. Homeowners call when filters clog from dust or coils freeze from the moisture in the air. The trade involves keeping units running efficiently despite the tough conditions Texas weather throws at them.

They perform routine maintenance to prevent big failures during peak times, fix broken compressors and blower motors, and put in new systems when old ones quit. Homeowners in Russellville often see them out on service calls for units that won't cool properly or make odd noises from wear. The work covers checking gas lines on heaters, cleaning coils, and balancing airflow through ducts that collect dirt over time. They also manage geothermal setups if needed but stick mostly to standard HVAC fixes that keep houses comfortable year round. Technicians show up with the right tools to diagnose problems fast and get things back online without dragging out the job. This keeps the house temps steady even when the outside conditions swing hard.

Homeowners around Russellville give steady credit for fast arrivals when the AC dies in the middle of a heat wave and for repairs that actually last instead of needing callbacks. The crew keeps costs in line with what the work requires and talks straight about parts and labor without extra layers. Folks note the clear updates on when someone will arrive and what the options are once the issue gets checked. DIRT Score 4.4 from 100 reviews on Finds.

“I am amazed at the work the two gentlemen from this company did! They came over and installed my new sink and siliconed under it to prevent water from going under it. They also redid all of the valves and plumbing under the sink, and they hooked up my new garbage disposal! Overall, I would give them 10 stars if I could!”

“After a leaky water intake valve on a ticking time bomb old water heater cropped up, I called Rood Inc. They got out quickly and talked with me about my options. We agreed that a full change out of the gas water tank was the best option. They installed a new water heater, modified the space to better suit the new tank, and hauled away the old tank in less than an hour. The cost was a fraction of what I estimated and their service was prompt and efficient. Will definitely be calling them back for any other projects I need done in the future. Thank you guys!”

“I am totally please with each aspect of Rood Plumbing and Services. My satisfaction began with the initial phone call that I made requesting service, following this - a “ team” of professional plumbers visited my home diagnosed and immediately offered a solution to “end” a problem that has been ongoing since 2007. I am totally satisfied with this Company.”

“Bobby O'Donnell did an excellent job diagnosing a hot water line leak, digging it up, fixing the connectors, and getting our water pressure issue under control. The guy is incredibly personable, and he's fast at what he does. Also, their other technicians in the past have been super helpful. I call them first. Highest recommendations for Rood!”
