About
Air 2 U works as an HVAC contractor based in San Antonio, Texas. They handle residential and commercial jobs focused on air conditioning and heating systems. This includes full installations, repairs for units that stop working, and regular maintenance to keep everything running. The outfit emphasizes straightforward service for local homeowners dealing with the heat and occasional cold snaps. Technicians like Anton show up to address problems such as heaters that won't turn on or condensers that fail completely. They also offer financing options through partners to help cover larger jobs without upfront cash outlays from the customer.
Air 2 U sends techs out for heater service calls where the system fails to produce warmth, full condenser replacements on units that quit after initial fixes, and cooling repairs when air stops blowing cold. Anton has diagnosed failed parts on site and returned days later to swap components, while also responding to after hours requests to restore function before a weekend. Maintenance visits get scheduled yearly to catch issues early, and the crew handles both emergency breakdowns and planned replacements on older equipment. Homeowners in the area call when systems make odd noises or simply die during peak summer or winter weather, and the company responds with same day scheduling when possible through their direct line.
Some customers praise Anton for showing up on time, staying professional during the visit, and pushing to complete repairs quickly even outside normal hours so families stay comfortable. Others note solid results on initial fixes like new condensers but point to gaps in follow up calls and attitude during diagnostics. The mixed feedback lands the company at an average mark overall across speed, quality, and communication. DIRT Score 3.1 from 25 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“My warranty company selected this company to service my heater. Over the phone Anton seemed helpful, and fit me into his schedule the same day. However, once he got to my home he was very condescending on his search to why I had no heat. Even as my handyman asked him questions he replied with short, arrogant answers that I was afraid to ask him questions. All in all, it was a $79 waste of time. He diagnosed the issue, but since my warranty company wouldn't cover the part he chose not to call me back with a price for the part, even though he said he would. I would have gladly paid his company to install the part had the price been right. It's all good though. I found a smaller company that did it for a price that I could afford; without the bad attitude. That company I plan to use in the future instead of calling my home warranty company. Ironically, I've seen other good reviews with Anton in it, but that's not the person I got. I would not recommend this company.”
“Anton was recommended by my Home warranty company. He came out and diagnosed the condenser failed and replaced it a few days later. All was good again for 1 week until the AC unit stopped blowing cold air. I called and texted Anton for several days. He finally responded 3 days later with "I didn't build the equipment, but I'll come and take a look." Two days later he pulls up in front of the house and within minutes I see him leaving the house. No knock on the door, no communication, he just drove off. As he was driving away I called him to ask where he was going. He said he found that the valve was faulty and he would have to come back the next day to repair it. Valve gets repaired next day and 3 days later same problem, no cold air blowing in the house. Again I call and text Anton, this time 4 days go by without a response! Finally get a text repeating he didn't build the equipment but he would come take a look on Friday between 8a-10am. Anton was a no show! No call and no response to multiple calls and texts. After calling the home warranty Anton came back out but continued with lame excuses why he hadn't shown up on Friday. All I asked for was a simple response to my calls or texts. He raised his voice and exclaimed that he didn't build the equipment. He continued to interrupt me without allowing me to talk. I asked him to leave my property. I had to call another company to come out and look at the unit that Anton installed. The HVAC tech found that the copper line was welded poorly which caused the freon to leak out! Yes Anton welded the copper line when he installed the new unit. Unfortunately I paid the $700 with a check so I couldn't stop payment on it as it had already been cashed. Next time I'll be sure to use a credit card for these types of payments as they are much more easily disputed. Beware of Air 2 U. Don't let his nice guy image fool you.”
“We have had a 5+ year relationship with Anton and Air 2 U. He has been nothing short of fantastic. Professional, punctual and efficient. He's an honest man and won't do you wrong. I will continue to use and highly recommend Anton and Air 2 U.”
“Anton is the best. He was professional and on time. He even tried to help me outside of regular hours to make sure my cooling system was working for my family. He goes above and beyond the extra mile. Definitely recommend Air2U to all of my family and friends. Repairs and service were fast and done right away.”
“I had a policy with Acclaimed Home Warranty to get a replacement HVAC unit. The new air handler in the attic leaked within the first month costing $500 of damage to replace and repaint ceiling Sheetrock. Condensation drain still was not repaired or reinstalled properly. Leak started again in two weeks. Anton Thomas of Air 2 U San Snyonio didn’t answer emails. Texts or phone calls to remedy the problem. I cleaned the drainage lines and the problem recurred again s few weeks later. Again no response from the installer. Meanwhile the leak has saturated the supply plenum. The cost for leveling the original new unit. Replacing the drain line with a built in cut off valve was another $925. After further researching Air/U San Antonio I found that another AC business at the same address had closed and had horrible reviews. Apparently just the business name was changed but not the incompetent service.”
