About

Air Supremacy Ac & Heating operates as a straightforward HVAC outfit right in San Antonio, TX. Local crews like this know the territory inside out because they deal with the same homes and weather patterns day after day. Homeowners here face brutal summer heat that runs well into the nineties and beyond, plus the occasional winter freeze that can knock out systems without warning. The company focuses on keeping equipment running through those swings without adding extra layers of hassle. They show up with the right tools and parts for the jobs that come up most often in this part of Texas, from older homes in established neighborhoods to newer builds on the outskirts.

Their work centers on full air conditioning service and repair, including fixing compressors, replacing coils, and sealing leaks that let humidity build up indoors. They also handle heating system tune ups and installations when the cold fronts hit, along with duct cleaning and thermostat upgrades that help balance temperatures across a house. Crews start by checking the full setup on site, then walk through what needs fixing or replacing so the owner understands the options before any work begins. In San Antonio that often means prepping units for heavy summer use or addressing wear from constant running, which cuts down on surprise breakdowns during peak heat. Homeowners end up with systems that hold steady through long days and nights without wasting energy on constant cycling.

Reviews highlight how these technicians show up on time, finish the job without cutting corners, and explain the fixes in plain terms that make sense for everyday use. That consistency stands out in a market where weather can turn on a dime and leave people without cooling or heat for days. The volume of feedback points to crews who treat each call like the next one depends on it, building a record of solid performance over repeated visits. DIRT Score 5.0 from 10933 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

I wanted to give a higher rating because there were several things I really appreciated. The HVAC technicians were friendly and professional, and the call center customer service reps made scheduling the appointment easy. I also liked being able to call and quickly reach a real person, and the driver tracking feature on my phone provided an accurate arrival time, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, the job was not completed, which is why I can only give two stars. I originally called because my home has very dusty vents, and my son has been coughing constantly, especially at night, due to his allergies. I paid nearly $4,000 to have a UV light installed and to have sanitizing treatment blown through the vents. I would have been completely satisfied if the work had been finished as promised. Instead, I now have to wait four days for a manager to come inspect the issue while my son continues to struggle with nighttime coughing, and I have to rely on allergy medication to help reduce his symptoms. I'm disappointed because the customer service and technicians were excellent, but at this price point, I expected the work to be completed correctly the first time. We’ll see what they have to say. Not sure if you can see the dust but it’s everywhere. A thick carpeted mess. It was an emergency for them to come out and I can’t believe my main concerns weren’t addressed.

Called this company because of my experience with the last one and being in the middle of a PCS move with a fast approaching deadline, total 180 degree difference and completely understood my situation. Jorge came out at 0900 the day after I called, gave me 4 solutions after evaluating the entire system and diagnosing the issue. He also diagnosed several future issues with rough timeline possibilities. The 4 options ranged the price scale from a quick fix at $1800.00 to a 3 star system 3 ton unit replacement with the various pros and cons of either. Him and his manager Blake (not 100% sure of the name) checked multiple times that Jorge had done his job by explaining everything to me clearly after checking the unit, then explained the financial side and what their company offered for financing, I dont know if this is just me but I noticed how normal and positive the financing option was because although not many have 19K in cash to spare, I still have to swallow some pride and the attitude of normalcy helped. With that number in mind we went with a 2 start 3 ton unit. Fidel and Isaiah were the installation crew that came out the next day (today) and knocked everything out in just under 6 hours (they quoted 8 hours because they "take their time and do it right"). As noisy and messy as that process is, they managed to do it with out any damage or much clean up really. Drop clothes were laid down and they cleaned up all hardware, dust and debris. Took the old unit with them (asked permission to lay it in the front yard and I didn't care this is the country), were entirely respectful to my wife and I throughout the install. System was fully verified, tested and documented before they left (asked me over everytime to explain and have us see for ourselves.) The price is on the higher side but not the highest by far and I can honestly say although I'm a new customer, it's been worth my money for the peace of mind. Don't go to them for cheap, go for quality. The program you can sign up for is amazing with seasonal services (they call you which is nice for people like me that have been hit in the head a time or 12), discounts that saved me almost 4K on this, an automatic drain cleaning system and even air filter changing (you gotta buy the filter). Very reasonably priced however, I don't recall the exact number. They will be more then happy to tell you if you ask. The plumbing side is also exceptional, Taylor H. Helped me out of a big pinch during a similar timeline with a water heater and even tested things another company did to verify correctness and safety. (The same company from the beginning of this review). Overall it is clear why they've been in business for almost a century. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends every. day. of. the. week.

Ever have someone over promise and underperform? After leaving a 5⭐️ review via their QR code, based on the sales pitch we received (which I can’t find to adjust) we had them come out the next day to install a new AC on 12 Mar. Based on the initial install of a new system there were significant findings that you wouldn’t expect. •Fan speeds and refrigerant are barely within parameters so they’ll correct both on 16 Mar. •Team will do a full walk through and finish sealing ducts in attic - left off two areas that were hard to reach. (See picture 2) •Indoor disconnect location was inaccessible and the team physically showed us where it was at so they were aware. (See picture 1) •They blew insulation throughout the house without even warning us it was a possibility. (Picture 3 shows one of the rooms, more insulation was captured inside the vent) •They used our shop vacuum because they didn’t have their proper equipment on hand. •Plenum removal and replacement was left off the ticket and we had to have another team come out on 13 Mar. This team was great and requested an internal Quality Control Inspector to come out and assess the work of the first team. **This is the only reason I’m giving them 2⭐️. The inspector confirmed our findings along with a couple of other items, that being said he gave it the green light only for the entire system to have a wiring error 2 days after install. (See picture 4-5). Highly disappointed with the service and system. It’ll be 95° tomorrow with no AC. There’s been an urgent ticket submitted for ANOTHER team to come out 15 Mar to figure out the wiring issue so it’s TBD on the level of work they’ll perform. Bottom line is there will be 4 visits within 5 days to fix a brand new system and get it within code.

After I spoke with the manager he sent another technician out because the first kinda gave me really expensive prices and didn’t really check the entire AC system. I didn’t feel too comfortable with the first because he was talking like $20,000 and recommended replacing the AC system. And I just hate when they try to scare you and exaggerate the problem. Brandon the second technician that did actual work on the AC was a lot more helpful and seemed more honest and gave me more options as well. The entire time I felt super comfortable with him and felt like I could trust the service because he was calm and friendly and that really goes a long way when you’re a single woman and know nothing about this type of stuff because it does tend to feel overwhelming and stressful and scary. But Brandon did really good work and would feel comfortable with him doing work for any future maintenance. Hopefully I won’t have to do anything in the near future.

I want to recognize Andrew for the outstanding service he provided during my recent AC appointment. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. What I appreciated most was the time he took to educate me about my HVAC system, explain how it operates, and provide practical maintenance tips to help keep it running efficiently. Andrew was patient with my questions and made sure I understood everything without feeling rushed. His honesty, expertise, and willingness to share his knowledge gave me confidence in both my system and the service being provided. Because of the positive experience and trust he established, I would like to request Andrew for any future HVAC service visits. I felt completely comfortable working with him and would prefer that he be my technician going forward whenever possible. Thank you, Andrew, for your exceptional customer service, professionalism, and commitment to helping homeowners better understand and care for their systems.
