County Wide Air & Heat
HVAC Contractor · San Antonio, TX
About
County Wide Air & Heat operates as an HVAC outfit based in Austin, TX. The crew handles heating and cooling systems that deal with intense summer heat and humidity along with occasional winter freezes that hit local homes. Austin properties run equipment hard for long stretches, so breakdowns happen fast when coils ice over or thermostats stop working right. Homeowners call on them for repairs and maintenance that keep air flowing steady without added delays or extra charges. The work matches what the local climate demands day after day on rooftops and in attics across the city.
Seth and Thomas showed up fast to handle an AC problem in one house and wrapped the job while answering every question about the repair. Reuben arrived on schedule with parts already loaded on the truck so the fix finished without extra runs back to the shop. Crews move carefully through the house, stick to the real issue at hand, and leave the system running properly again. They take on tune ups, same day emergency visits during peak heat, and full unit swaps that hold up under Austin conditions where units stay under constant load. Ruben and Mikey follow the same pattern on calls, showing up when promised and finishing without pushing parts the owner does not need.
Homeowners rate the crew high on response speed that brings techs out the same day, work quality that lasts after the visit, and clear communication that lays out real options without pressure. These strengths show up across repeated jobs where the team respects the property and completes the task on the first try. The pattern holds steady through hundreds of local HVAC calls where people note reliable arrivals and results that match the problem at hand. DIRT Score 5 from 743 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Ruben and Mikey arrived when they say they would, worked carefully in my house, fixed what I needed and didn't try to sell me what I don't need. Great service! I'll definitely call them for all my future plumbing needs.”
“Seth and Thomas were excellent and came quickly to fix our ac issue. Work was done satisfactorily and professionally. Couldn’t have asked for better hvac techs as just overall a good experience. Answered all my questions and concerns and great customer service. Will recommend to family and friends and anyone in need or having ac issues.”
“Reuben was courteous and kind. He was on time, and the parts were on the truck. The repair was completed. I am at a point in my life where I can no longer do these repairs for myself. I haven't priced a fill valve lately; I would think it’s around $20. I realize I’m paying for convenience and somebody else’s skill set. In my opinion, the price was exorbitant at $165.”
“I called on a Saturday about a stopped up toilet. I had to leave a request for a call back on Monday. This was not a problem since the house has other bathrooms. The plumber called Monday morning and set up an appointment for 11:00 a.m. He was prompt and efficient and had the toilet fixed fairly quickly. He was a very nice, pleasant young man, and I'm sorry I can't remember his name. If I need your plumbing services again, I would like to request him. Thank you.”
“We consider Ruben as our plumber because he does great work, and we trust him. He arrived on time, and fixed our toilet and sink issues. We're very happy customers!”
