About

Jorge Garza operates an HVAC business based in Starr County, Texas, where he concentrates on keeping homes comfortable through the region's intense summer heat and occasional winter chills. He works directly with local homeowners on air conditioning and heating needs, drawing from years of hands-on experience in South Texas conditions that demand reliable cooling most of the year. Garza handles calls from residential properties across the county, focusing on practical fixes that match the demands of older homes and newer builds alike without unnecessary extras.

His crew responds to service requests for AC unit repairs, full system installations, and routine maintenance checks that catch issues like clogged coils or failing compressors before they lead to bigger breakdowns. Technicians address problems such as uneven cooling in multiple rooms or units struggling with high humidity, often working on duct cleaning and thermostat replacements during the same visit. They prioritize same-day options when possible during peak summer months and explain options clearly so homeowners can decide on repairs versus replacements based on the age of their equipment and budget.

Customers in Starr County note consistent strengths in quick arrival times during heat waves, solid workmanship that lasts through the season, and straightforward pricing that avoids surprise costs. Feedback highlights effective communication about what needs fixing and realistic timelines for completion, along with fair rates compared to other options in the area. These patterns across many jobs add up to the overall rating. DIRT Score 4.38 from 89 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

The entire office is welcoming, well-organized, and respectful of our time. The nurses and staff are friendly & efficient. Over the years, Jorge A. Garza has become more than just a doctor — he has been a true partner in my child’s health and well-being.

I took my son to Dr. Jorge Garza for 15 months and every single time he would examine him from toe to head. This meant that he would touch feet, genitals and butt first AND then without sanitizing, touch my son's face, including his eyes. My theory is maybe he wanted my son to get pink eye so he'd have more business? I don't know, but I'd always find this soo wrong. Besides that, the nurses don't keep up with referrals. I told Dr. Garza I was concerned about speech delay 2 separate visits and his nurses were never able to get me a proper referral to therapy/specialists. I didn't tell him 3 times. I fired this "doctor" and found a pediatrician that did a proper exam and quickly referred me to a specialist. Besides allllll that, the office has had a broken window for months. It's been boarded up with wood and looks terrible for a pediatricians office, being next to a smoke shop doesn't help either.

I love Dr. Garza's office the staff is always so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Garza and Dr. Rodriguez are both amazing they listen and offer lots of information. I will be sad when my kids age out and we have to look for another Dr.

I had the worst experience here with my newborn. I brought her in for her first appointment after delivery and couldn't have been more disappointed! The front desk staff were nice and professional but it stopped there. Once we were taken to the back to get the baby's weight and height the girl was rude and talking down to my husband and I. While in the middle of this the Dr peeked in the room to ask her if everything was alright as if he were security checking on his staff. I didn't know he was the Dr. until I passed his office going to our room where his door was wide open and he was counting cash laid out on his desk. When we got to the room we were seen by a nurse practitioner (not the Dr whom we were there to see) who didn't introduce herself but was instead speaking 20 miles an hour with a strong accent. When she finished I asked who she was because I was lost. She then proceeded to do a checkup on my newborn where she literally just moved her around a bit and said she was fine to come back in a week. I needed her to assess my baby's jaundice which I mentioned several times but was ignored. I decided after that to not return and booked an appointment with another pediatrician the following day. Unfortunately I thought this office would be better based on reviews but it wasn't. I wanted a Dr, closer to my home but instead will travel to the other side of town for a more professional office. Do not come here based off of reviews or you will be disappointed.

Iv been coming here since my baby was 2 months and his dr is really good checks from head to toe front office is very polite. I just can’t get past the nurse who sometimes checks his weight thankfully I have been getting someone else who has been checking him but man was that nurse super rude and always trying to be sarcastic about everything ! Answered very ugly and rude ! I love his Dr. Rodriguez but sometimes I feel she thinks I over react on my kid although I sometimes probably do everything worries me especially being a first time mom. I’m debating if I should move or not.
