“Love Dr. Bocanegra, have been seeing him for over a decade. If you have any concerns, or additional tests you think might be good to add, he will hear you out and recommend they be done, or give you an alternative, either way he takes his patients into consideration. Very loving and caring.”

“If you expect a medical office to actually review your medical history before writing your prescriptions, look elsewhere. I had a highly frustrating experience with this office due to poor communication and a total lack of accountability. Upon transferring from out-of-state, the staff stated they did not need my medical records, a decision that ultimately forced a major prescribing error where they ordered the wrong variation of my long-term medication and left me without it for days. When I questioned the mistake, they completely deflected; they tried to blame the pharmacy until I reminded them that the pharmacy only fills what the doctor writes. How am I supposed to know the technical difference between complex abbreviations on a bottle, especially when I didn't even know two different versions of the same medication existed? When I found out this version acts completely differently, the receptionist dismissively told me the doctor said "it's okay," forcing a stressful back-and-forth just to get them to re-order the prescription I’ve safely taken for years.
