About
Jose Zuniga runs an HVAC operation based in Fort Worth, Texas. He focuses on residential heating and cooling work that keeps homes comfortable through the long hot summers and occasional winter cold fronts common to the region. North Texas weather puts heavy demands on air conditioning units and furnaces, with dust, high temperatures, and sudden temperature swings causing frequent breakdowns that homeowners must address to avoid discomfort or higher energy bills. Zuniga works directly on these systems for local properties where reliable performance matters most during peak seasons.
He handles service calls for air conditioner repairs, new unit installations, and furnace maintenance that address issues like failed compressors, clogged coils, or uneven airflow. Technicians respond to calls about systems that stop cooling during summer peaks or produce insufficient heat when temperatures drop. Common fixes involve replacing worn parts, recharging refrigerant levels, and cleaning components that accumulate debris from the dry Texas air. Customers have noted thorough checks on older units that had run for years without proper attention, restoring function without unnecessary replacements. Work often includes testing thermostats and duct connections to prevent recurring problems in homes built to handle the local climate extremes.
Customers consistently praise the speed of response when units fail on the hottest days, the quality of repairs that last through multiple seasons, fair pricing on parts and labor, and clear explanations of what needs fixing. Reviews highlight reliable follow-through on jobs large and small without added delays or confusion over costs. This steady record across hundreds of jobs in Fort Worth has built a strong reputation for straightforward HVAC service. DIRT Score 5 from 332 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I have experienced 2 awesome visits at this practice. The check-in staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Luis Zuniga-Montes spent a large amount of time with me both times. He was very thorough with his questions and examination. I really appreciated the opportunity to see him for my possible rheumatoid arthritis situation. Great experiences! Thanks for the great healthcare from all the staff and Dr. Zuniga-Montes! Michael Blevins, RPh”
“I would not recommend Dr. Montes, he does not possess bedsite manners. He is not friendly he never smiles. He rushes you out of of his office. He's very hard to develop a doctor patient relationship. He puts barriers between you, and him. I was not a happy patient. his staff is friendly, courteous, so, if you're looking for a doctor that you can have a good rapport with, and have a great patient, doctor relationship, you're not going to find it in him. 🤦♀️”
“My first doctor when I Developed lupus per day was very informative and kind to me. He ran the rheumatology department at the university until he decided to change positions and going to private practice. He is a fantastic doctor and doesn’t miss anything.”
“Saw the doctor which went fine, he said he wanted me to redo some bloodwork that I done on my last visit. So they take some blood and as I’m leaving, the clerk tells me I owe them $150 for the bloodwork they just drew from me. Not a single word had been spoken to me about any additional fee besides my copay I had already paid. I would not have consented to have my bloodwork done if I knew it would be $150. Especially when I had already paid $100 for the visit. I asked why no one bothered to tell me there was an additional fee to the bloodwork and she could care less that I was at a loss. She just said she doesn’t know why it wasn’t but it’s due if I want to make my next appointment. This is absolutely 100% predatory behavior.”
“I am writing to file this review regarding the handling of my appointment and the policies communicated by your staff. I waited three months for an appointment with Dr. Zúñiga. During that period, I unexpectedly lost my insurance coverage. When I informed the billing staff (Disa) of my situation, I expressed that I was fully willing to pay out of pocket for the consultation. I was told that the self-pay cost would range between $500–$900 with another provider and I needed to wait 30-40 days. I clarified multiple times that I understood this amount and agreed to pay it out of pocket, and I specifically requested that my appointment not be canceled. Despite this, I was denied the opportunity to be seen and was told that Dr. Zúñiga does not accept self-pay patients. I even offered to provide my credit card information in advance to secure the appointment. I asked for understanding and empathy given my circumstances, yet I was given no alternative or workable solution—only the suggestion to seek care elsewhere. This left me without access to the medical evaluation I had waited months for. I am filing this complaint due to the lack of compassion, the refusal to provide care despite my willingness to pay, and the unusually high and unclear cost estimate that does not align with reasonable and customary consultation fees. Medical practices operate as businesses, but they also have a moral responsibility to treat patients with fairness and consideration.”
