About

Lourdes Barrera runs an HVAC operation based in Fort Worth, Texas. The work centers on residential heating and cooling systems that must handle the area's intense summer heat and occasional winter cold snaps. Homeowners here face frequent equipment strain from high temperatures that push units past their limits, along with dust and humidity that clog components over time. The business steps in to keep those systems operating through the long warm season when breakdowns leave houses unbearable without quick attention to the core mechanical issues.

Technicians handle typical Fort Worth jobs such as replacing worn compressors, clearing blocked condensate lines, and installing new thermostats that improve overall efficiency. They also manage full system replacements when older furnaces or condensers can no longer maintain steady temperatures, along with routine filter changes and coil cleanings that prevent larger failures during peak demand. Customers in the area often call when units short cycle or fail to cool properly, and the crew focuses on diagnosing the exact problem on site before any parts are ordered or work begins.

Feedback shows mixed results on speed and communication, with some jobs completed promptly while others involve delays that frustrate homeowners dealing with no air conditioning. Quality of repairs draws criticism when issues return soon after service, and price complaints appear when costs exceed initial expectations. DIRT Score 2.38 from 39 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Been with her for more than ten years and when I feel sick staff tells me she can't see me for a couple of months. They try and get me to see the PA. The Dr patient relationship is not there anymore. What a shame because I really liked that one on one she used to provide. Too many patients. Unfortunately I'm looking for a new primary Dr.

Was shopping around for new PCP. Iwas told that "I" would have to contact my insurance company to see if this doctor was within my group. I VE HAD TO CONTACT MY INSURANCE COMPANY...ITS A.L.W.A.Y.S. been the physicians office. She just lost a new patient as I can see any IN or OUT of NETWORK physician. The receptionist was NOT appealing in her voice or being helpful. That's one thing I.ve noticed that MOST drs offices in the Southside have very poooor attitudes come across the phone. Not professional at all.

If I could give zero stars I would. Dr. Barrera is terrible. Her staff is rude, and she doesn't listen to concerns of family members. I took my mom in twice, concerned about cognitive decline. Dr. Barrera did that stupid test, "draw a clock, now draw 4:15 on the clock" and said my mom was fine. Clearly she wasn't. My mom had not paid bills in 3 months, I told Dr. Barrera that and she dismissed it. If you want quality care, don't go to her! My mom is now being seen by a wonderful neurologist who has diagnosed her with dementia. Dr. Barrera was a waste of valuable time, as my mom should have been on medication.

I’ve been coming to Dr Barrera since I was a child … never had problems with her at all. I went in for an appointment for gallstones that the er had found …told me to make an appointment with my primary doctor, so I did . They only had an opening for P.A Nehal . I was in pain for weeks so I just stuck with it for that case . I was in the room with the assistants while they ask questions i answered all .. P.A Nehal comes in sees I came in for gallstones turns around and says it’s an ulcer by just touching my stomach , no sonogram (had a sonogram done when in the er showing the gallstone in a tube) apperantly since I have no gallbladder it’s impossible to get gallstone & THAT IS INCORRECT. Gallstones can appear back even after getting your Gallbladder removed… P.A Nehal then questions me about depression . I had a child in 2020 very complicated delivery, horrible check ups never had a Pap smear after and I told this to P.A Nehal … she then walks out the door and I hear the 2 women who did my blood work and the one who came in before the appointment… I hear them making fun of me because I didn’t have a Pap smear but had a kid …. they also mentioned how I went to the er but didn’t remember the hospital.. mind you I’m very antisocial and I get anxiety when talking to adults because THEY MAKE ME FEEL DUMB , just EXACTLY HOW THEY DID . Made me feel so horrible about myself . I WOULD NEVER LET P.A NEHAL IN THE HANDS OF MY HEALTH AGAIN . I should have never replace DOCTOR Barrera for her unprofessional P.A . She needs to be taught to respect and keep her comments to herself . It was very unprofessional of her and those 2 nurse assistants. Laughing right outside the room I was in LOUD . They have no care in the world about their patients.

My mom is a patient. I take her to the appts every few months or so. Dr. Barrera is really nice and I know she cares about her patients, but it seems to me that she has far too many patients. I try to set up her appointments as early as i can to ensure we can get seen on time, but if my appt is any later than 10am or so, the wait will be well over an hour. Once i set up a late appt (3pm) and mom didn't even get called back til 4:15pm. She was so tired by then, i almost cancelled it. I believe Dr. Barrera needs another doc on staff. I likely won't change docs tho, it's just too much for my mom to have to get used to another doc.
