What Customers Say

Jim & Team were great! Quick service at a reasonable price! Highly recommend!

Jim at Signature Mechanical was amazing! We needed help immediately and he came out with very short notice. Our problem was unusual but his knowledge of plumbing and pipe fitting was spot on. We were fixed and back in business before he left the property. Pricing was more than fair for the time he was out and we never felt gouged for needing a rush appointment. We will definitely be recommending Signature to our friends.

Jim & his team have been nothing but responsive and informative. I have used them on many projects, across 3 properties over the last two years and everyone has been great. Jim has gotten folks out to help on short notice when necessary. We have used them for pipe replacement, clogs, faucets, and installation of gas lines, dishwashers, disposals, etc.

One of your employees driving a white van (near University Avenue and N. East Marshall St.) swore at me and flipped me off while driving. I was going a little bit slower than they wanted because I was in an unfamiliar area and using my GPS to find my way. Instead of patience or even just going around me, this person decided to be mean spirited and unprofessional. This person passed me on my right, met my speed, make sure to get my attention, and then swore at me and flipped me off through the window. This is an interaction that I will never forget. Professionalism extends to road etiquette as well.

Thank God for Signature Mechanical. I’ve read the unfavorable reviews and I have an opposing view. During my five decade career I managed competitive design and installation of large hydraulic systems on an international scale. I eventually switched to a traveling mechanical contractor based out of Minnesota after a few near fatalities with local unions, mostly in the Detroit area (our Detroit systems included Ford, GMC, Chrysler, and the TACOM Road Simulator for M1 tank). In retirement for ten years now, I'm working the renovation of housing for a special needs community. A few years ago we ran into a complex and risky situation involving high natural gas flows, contaminated city water, and a sewer line about to fail from age, that I expected would run around $30,000 overall. The first few contractors fell short technically but wisely either “no bid” or “over bid” the job. Signature was clearly capable technically, appeared exceptionally honest, but bid lower than I expected. I’m always skeptical of low bids, especially with high risk jobs, but Signature’s indicators were all green. The $30,000 I expected came in at around $22,000, with exceptionally high quality to boot (see photo of the installation of two tankless water heaters). That was three years ago. Signature has been our sole source since, we issue contracts for varying properties with each year, and they continue to operate at a world class level, while accepting residential work.
