About

The Building Rx handles HVAC work for homeowners across San Antonio, TX. They focus on heating and cooling systems that must stand up to the local heat, humidity, and sudden temperature drops that strain equipment year after year. Crews respond to calls from houses where units quit during the worst weather or where older setups need attention to keep air moving properly through ducts. No fancy extras get added to the description, just straightforward service on the equipment that matters most when the outside conditions turn rough on residential properties.

They take on repairs for air conditioners that lose cooling power in peak summer, full system installs in homes that need updated units, and maintenance visits to clear coils or fix airflow problems before they cause bigger failures. Technicians such as Fernando have shown up on time for jobs, laid out the steps in advance, and handled the work on everything from basic home calls to larger building projects involving old equipment removal. The approach stays practical, with crews checking what broke, quoting the fix, and completing the task without dragging things out longer than needed in the Texas heat.

Customers give mixed feedback on speed, quality of the repairs, price fairness, and how clearly the crew explains options, which adds up to the rating they carry after 21 reviews. Some note solid results when the team follows through on HVAC fixes, while others flag delays or unclear communication that hurt the experience. This balance reflects the real outcomes reported on jobs around San Antonio. DIRT Score 3.55 from 21 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

No stars here from me!!! This is a message for the general public and those with handicap decals. Avoid parking here at all cost and giving business to this owner and the rest of St Mary's strip! I got towed about midnight June 21. The parking lot does not show it is a pay parking lot. But in actuality it is a business called "Facility Rx. I had gone to brass monkey and parked there previously before all that nightmare construction. I did not get towed previously when i visited Brass Monkey. I made it a point to stay away for that duration. Well I didn't see a handicap parking even though Google says there's one. It was at night I really didn't see anything. Anyway I had my decal on. But didn't think I would get towed. Not bc I had a handicap decal but bc I parked there previously. So stay away. Do not give your business to any business at St Mary's Street bc this area is TOW HAPPY!!!! They want people to come back? How? if they are tow happy and don't have public signs for paid parking lots. Like a regular parking lot downtown. Again stay away from St Mary's Strip they do not deserve your business. I hope you read this message. Take it to heart and go elsewhere and have a good time without worrying about getting towed!! I got charged $226. Dam, dam, dam!!!

This is an outstanding, professional group you must consider (and hopefully use) for any moving or removal job. The task we needed to complete was the decommissioning of a government building, and was led by Fernando who arrived on time, explained all his plans, made sure that everyone was on the same page, paced his group perfectly for the task at hand, no damages, no conflicts, no mishaps…..as uneventful as could be. The professionalism and courtesy of Fernando, and FacilityRX as a whole, was outstanding. I highly recommend this organization without reservation to anyone needing this type of work done, and will definitely use them again in the future.

Beware of the Towing scam here. They have spotters in the evening and the whole night long. Within 10 seconds of you leaving your car, it will be towed. They have very small difficult to read signs posted, that are easy to miss.

Be aware after hours even though they are obviously closed and no one is using parking spaces. They tow and there are not enough signs that tell you to pay. They are hidden and obscure. We encountered many who had their cars towed unfortunately in one night.😕

Delivered a load here... They took a while to get me squared away to leave, but it was only because they were doing their jobs correctly. No problems, no complaints.
