“Very disappointed in this institution and their lack of student accommodations. If your loved one has any mental health troubles, they do not care and will do nothing to help. On top of that, they make you jump through hoops for just about everything from financial aid assistance, which we never got, to class registration, and enrollment. This place is the definition of greed. Spend your hard earned money at an institution that cares about your student and their wellbeing. I have emails where they specifically state they do not care. Disgusting. Cannot wait to transfer our student to another school.”

“If you have a disability, I recommend considering a different school or completing all of your paperwork the semester before you start classes. This was my first semester, and I only received approval for my necessary accommodations in April. The process requires significantly more paperwork and testing compared to other universities and colleges. While there are people who are willing to help you navigate the process, the administration can make it quite challenging. In addition to the documentation requirements, there are also limited resources available. Their testing center is much smaller compared to Texas State, and the accommodations provided for various disabilities are, in my opinion, quite limited.”

“I really enjoy bringing my grandchildren to visit the campus. Once a month, I take the teens for lunch at the Roadrunner Cafe. We self tour afterwards. I don't want the grands to ever feel intimidated about college. They enjoy the monthly visits and family activities.”

“I am withdrawing from UTSA due to the abhorrent lack of student resources, and if you care about your sanity, don’t apply. We won’t even discuss the lack of freshmen preparation, leaving new students completely unprepared and clueless as to what and where the bare minimum accommodations are. My biggest concern with the management of this school is the lack of parking. There are four housing complexes plus Roadrunner Cafe attendees sharing TWO parking lots. Students are fighting tooth and nail for spots while employees take up the last open resident spot and do not receive citation. Many spots in employee lots are left empty but reserved, leaving students to park out of desperation and receive $50 citations. I am paying $108,000 dollars to attend this school just to not be able to get into my dorm after needing to buy water. What is the point of adding on a $300 parking charge to this if students end up paying for the rate-fee parking spots because it’s the only thing open? Last year, this school was not like this. Too many freshmen students were accepted without any thought for how to accommodate them. There are much better option than this for college.”
