A different local HVAC company had shorted out my unit, resulting in the replacement of my entire system, including the air handler and zone damper. Since all of this work was completed under warranty, I wanted an experienced, factory-authorized Trane technician to thoroughly inspect the installation and make sure everything was done correctly. After reading the reviews, I believed this was the right company. Unfortunately, after waiting all day for the appointment, they sent a maintenance technician instead of a certified Trane service technician. I had specifically explained when I scheduled the appointment that I needed someone with the training and authority to perform a comprehensive inspection because of the extensive issues my system had experienced. It was disappointing to take time out of my day only to have the wrong type of technician dispatched. Better communication and scheduling would have avoided this situation.”
