About
Eon Heating And Air Conditioning Llc operates out of McAllen, TX, and focuses on HVAC work for homes and rental properties across the region. They handle everything from routine maintenance to full system replacements, serving customers who need reliable cooling and heating in the Texas heat. The company deals with urgent calls that come in after hours and manages jobs that other outfits might put off due to holidays or weekends. Their techs show up prepared to diagnose issues on the spot and get systems running again without dragging things out. This setup fits the demands of local homeowners and property managers who face breakdowns at inconvenient times and need straightforward fixes rather than delays.
They handle emergency heater repairs for short-term rentals like the one in Canyon Lake where a call at 8 PM led to quick scheduling and resolution. Techs such as Gary have diagnosed problems fast even on Sundays, allowing families to sleep cool the same night after a straightforward fix. Full unit changeouts get completed in tight windows, including a job finished in three days despite falling over New Year's when most places shut down. Customers note the crew stays knowledgeable on the equipment and works through the full process from initial contact to final testing without leaving loose ends.
Homeowners keep coming back because the work gets done right the first time with clear explanations on what broke and how it was repaired. Speed stands out on same-day or holiday calls, quality shows in long-term use of the systems after replacement, and pricing comes across as fair for the results delivered. Communication holds steady in most cases with helpful responses from scheduling through completion. The one negative note on owner interactions does not match the majority of experiences. What Customers Say
“Had such a great experience with A & E! Everyone I spoke with, from scheduling my service to my tech, were so kind and helpful. I own a short-term rental property in Canyon Lake and we had an emergency where the heater wasn't working for one of our guests. I was able to call at 8 PM and get an appointment scheduled for the next day! Our tech was able to be at the property the next morning and got our system up and running! I will definitely be using them for the foreseeable future!”
“Warnings about doing business with this company. Owner yelled at me when I called to question a repair job and purposefully hung up on me 3 times. I honestly have never encountered that level of rage and hostility from someone that offers "professional services". Bulverde deserves better.”
“Excellent service as usual and very knowledgeable techs. I have been using A+E for many years and they changed my unit out this time. It only took 3 days from the time I called to schedule this and completion and one of those days was New Years when everything is closed. I should also mention that this was not an emergency as my unit still worked it was just time to upgrade to a new system. The techs were quick, efficient and did the job correctly with minimal disruption to our lives. Thanks guys for a job well done.”
“Gary was excellent, and found our problem fast and took care of us. And this was on a Sunday. We will sleep cool tonight! We highly recommend A&E.”
“I want to report a safety concern involving one of your truck drivers. Today around noon, I was driving home from 281 and attempted to switch lanes. I noticed the truck approaching, but it was still far away. As I moved over, the driver suddenly sped up toward me, despite the speed limit being 65 mph, forcing me to return to my original lane to avoid a collision. Additionally, the driver was tailgating other cars and driving aggressively. Afterward, he rolled down his window and made inappropriate hand gestures, including flipping me off. The driver was a white male driving a company vehicle. This behavior was unsafe and unprofessional, and I wanted to make the company aware so steps can be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.”
