About

Reynolds Electric & A/C Service operates out of Grayson County in the Texoma region of Texas. They focus on HVAC work across Grayson, Collin, Fannin, and Cooke counties, handling both home and business needs. Their crews manage air conditioning repairs, heater and furnace service, heat pump installs, and related electrical fixes like wiring or panel work. They also cover commercial refrigeration such as walk-in coolers and chillers when those systems go down in local restaurants or shops. Homeowners in this area often deal with extreme summer heat that knocks out units fast, and Reynolds steps in with straightforward service calls that keep systems running through the worst weather.

Their technicians handle jobs like replacing failed capacitors on outdoor AC units after regular hours, diagnosing why a system stops blowing cold air, and performing tune-ups that prevent breakdowns during peak summer months. Scott arrived at one home within an hour of the call to pinpoint the capacitor issue and get the unit running again. Scotty has walked customers through maintenance steps to avoid future problems and answered questions on efficiency without rushing. Office staff like Eva handle scheduling calls promptly and keep customers informed on arrival times. They service both residential and commercial setups, including generator hookups and electrical outlet repairs tied to HVAC equipment.

Customers consistently note fast response times even outside business hours, clear explanations of what went wrong instead of vague fixes, and solid work that holds up in Texas heat. Reviews highlight technicians who show up prepared, explain repairs in plain terms, and handle everything from simple capacitor swaps to full system checks without added hassle. This approach builds trust on every call, whether for a home furnace or a business chiller. DIRT Score 5.0 from 130 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Scotty was excellent! He was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain how to help prevent issues during the hot summer months. I really appreciated that he answered all of my questions and made sure I understood how to keep our system running efficiently. Thank you for the outstanding service!

Awesome company. Great staff that is professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they take the time to explain the issues to me. Not just tell me “it’s fixed now.” The lady in the office who answered the phone. I think her name was Eva? She’s so sweet and helpful. Will definitely recommend Reynolds for any Electrical or AC needs!

My wife called me while I was on the road to tell me our outside A/C/ unit was not running. I called the main office and spoke with a cordial lady who scheduled Scott to meet me at my house in 1 hour after regular business hours, which he did. Within minutes, Scott diagnosed the capacitor needed replacing. He had a new capacitor in his truck, installed it, and my A/C system was back up and running again. His total time at my residence was an hour at most. He was fast, efficient, capable, and very nice. We have used Reynolds for 10 years and will continue doing so.

Excellent experience. The assigned tech did a great job……very much down to earth but understood the equipment and related technology well. Customer Service from the scheduling group was also excellent. We have both a business and a home….we will use them for future needs. Excellent experience.

I built a new house in 2020. I’ve had two appointments where they needed to come out and service my A/C. No problem at all. We started having some issues with our unit a 3rd time, May (2026)…they sent a service guy out. This is where my problem begins. They did a few tests outside and told me my coil was bad. He quoted me $2000, I asked if that’s with my warranty. He said yes, that’s just the cost of labor. I said okay, how do you know it’s the coil, he said that’s just typically what it is…I said, before we commit to that, can you at least get in the attic and check? He climbed up in the attic and discovered that the last time their service guy came out, he left a panel off in the attic. He then told me, that was the problem the whole time. He put the panel back on and charged me $200 for their mistake. I called the company a few days later and explained it didn’t seem right for me to have to pay for their techs error…the lady told me she can see where the two techs came out before, but no record of installing our unit. She also told me that they updated their systems a few years ago and she would call me back. That was two weeks ago…I’ll update my review if they are reasonable about the situation when I call back.
