Terry Gene Hagerman
HVAC Contractor · Sherman, TX
About
Terry Gene Hagerman handles HVAC work for homes and businesses across Houston, Texas. The trade centers on installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning and heating systems that must stand up to the region's long stretches of high heat and heavy humidity. Local conditions put constant strain on equipment, with units running hard for months at a time and facing frequent breakdowns from moisture buildup or power surges. Homeowners in the area regularly need reliable service to keep indoor air comfortable without wasting energy on outdated or poorly tuned setups.
Common jobs include replacing worn compressors, fixing refrigerant leaks, cleaning coils clogged by the dust and pollen that blow through the city, and setting up new systems sized right for Houston's weather swings. Technicians show up with the right gauges and parts to diagnose why a unit blows warm air or runs nonstop, then get it working again without cutting corners on the ductwork or electrical connections. Regular maintenance visits catch small issues before they turn into full replacements during the worst of summer, and crews often handle both residential calls and light commercial work on rooftops or in tight utility rooms.
Customers keep coming back because the work gets done right the first time, responses come fast when the heat hits, prices stay straightforward with no surprise add-ons, and explanations about what needs fixing make sense without extra jargon. That steady record of solid results across hundreds of jobs adds up to the top mark. DIRT Score 5.0 from 904 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Easy to find and get to. I came during the week in November and I only saw 3 other cars, the road is not paved and narrow inside the refuge. I did the drive through the area, stopped along the way for pictures, saw ducks and geese. Plenty of places for hiking and a picnic area too.”
“Went out to Hagerman to map a route for our upcoming Jeep event. The Refuge is absolutely beautiful. I love how many people we saw doing different activities, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We're so excited to be heading back with Jeep Legacy Club on 6/27!”
“Hagerman has to be one of my personal favorite places of all time, its great for hiking, driving, fishing, whatever. I love the lack of road noise and being able to listen to nature, Its gotten me to even start volunteering out here!”
“Loved it. Just because careful of the country roads where dogs roam and are open to bark at you. The trails were worth the trip though.”
“Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge is amazing in winter. I came during snow geese season and it honestly felt like a movie. Huge flocks flying over the fields, so loud and beautiful. Great trails, easy drive, and lots of wildlife. Definitely worth the trip.”
