Bill Lea Service

Bill Lea Service runs an HVAC operation based in Sherwood, Texas, where they handle heating and cooling work for homes across the area. The crew stays available every hour of the day and every day of the week to respond when systems break down. Sherwood sits in a part of the state that sees brutal summer heat mixed with sudden winter dips, so homeowners often face overloaded air conditioners that stop cooling or furnaces that fail to keep up when temperatures drop. This outfit focuses on keeping those units running through the swings without forcing people to wait days for help. They also manage heat pump setups and basic indoor air quality tasks that come up in older houses common around here.

The team takes on heating repairs and full replacements when an old unit quits during a cold spell, along with air conditioning fixes, new installations, and regular maintenance to catch problems early. They work on ductless systems that some homes use for zoned cooling and handle heat pump service to keep efficiency high through long seasons. When a compressor fails or filters clog from dust and pollen, the technicians arrive with tools ready to test and replace what is needed. Financing options and specials help cover bigger jobs without surprise bills, and the same crew handles both quick emergency stops and scheduled upkeep that prevents repeat issues in the heavy Texas humidity.

Homeowners around Sherwood value crews that show up on time, explain what broke in plain terms, and finish without dragging out the cost or leaving loose ends. The weather here punishes weak installs, so consistent quality on repairs and maintenance matters more than anything else for keeping bills down and comfort steady. Speed on calls and clear talk about parts and labor keep the work reliable year after year. DIRT Score 4.76 from 193 reviews on Finds.

“Just started my service agreement with them. Amazing. The young man that came out actually did something to clean my outside unit that no previous company did. He took it apart to clean it better. Other services just sprayed off the outside. They will have my business for a long time to come.”

“I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. It’s a snowy tundra outside with temps dipping into single digits for the next few days and we woke up with no heat. John tried to help us troubleshoot over the phone (after I woke him up probably) before swinging by and fixing it himself. Probably the only car on the road just to help us.”

“Bill did a tremendous job getting problems with our A/C. He works hard and very easy to work with. I highly recommend him and his company.”

“These guys were great! Very professional with exceptional craftsmanship. I am above satisfied with my new A/C unit.”

“Absolutely Exceptional Service! I cannot say enough great things about Bill Lea and the technician who came to our rescue. Our AC suddenly stopped working during a heatwave, and they were able to send someone out the same day. From the moment I called, the customer service was courteous, helpful, and reassuring. The technician was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained everything clearly, including our repair options and pricing. What impressed me most was how transparent and honest he was—no upselling, just straightforward help. He had our system running again within a couple of hours. The difference in comfort was immediate, and he even gave us tips on how to maintain our unit to avoid future problems. It’s rare to find a co”

“Outstanding Service. Highly Reccomend this Company. Fair Pricing. Good people.”

“Such a great experience with Bill Lea Heat and Air. Hometown service, great recommendations, suggested a product for for our home and taught us lots during the process! We will be a client for a very long time. Locally owned too!!”

“Ivan was wonderful. He arrived on time and was very thorough in his inspection/tune-up of the heater. He also went above and beyond and checked out a spot where I thought there might be a duct leak, but it turned out to be an old satellite dish that fell over and caused a hole in the roof. He took pictures for me so that I can pursue it with confidence about the issue. I really appreciate that extra effort.”

“Although the fix was more than I was expecting, Bill Lea Service was a pleasure to work with. The technician was able to come early and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was able to locate parts and get everything back up and cooling off the house same day which I was also not expecting. Thanks Bill Lea Service!”

“Bill Lea service is the best heat and air service I have ever used. They are efficient, on time, and professional! My air went out shortly after July fourth and it was extremely hot. I called several name brand companies that couldn’t come out till the end of next week. Bill Lea came out the same day I called. Got my air working in a timely manner. They understood the circumstances I was in. They charged me a reasonable price that I could afford to pay. I would highly recommend Bill Lea heat and air service to everyone.”
