Brazos River Air Conditioning Llc

Brazos River Air Conditioning Llc works from Stephenville, Texas and handles HVAC jobs for homes in the area. They cover air conditioning installation, repairs, and replacements plus furnace work and heat pumps for local customers dealing with hot summers and occasional cold fronts. Service reaches nearby towns like Bluff Dale, Tolar, Glen Rose, and Lipan where homeowners need steady cooling and heating performance. Owner Wacey brings years of direct experience to every call and keeps the focus on accurate diagnosis without unnecessary steps or delays that waste time and money.

The company manages mini-split cooling fixes by checking refrigerant levels and adding what is needed when units fall short on performance. Technicians locate and repair leaks in HVAC systems, order replacement parts, and finish the swaps without extra complications or callbacks. They also handle full AC maintenance visits, explain issues in straightforward language during the job, and follow up afterward to confirm the fix holds. Ductless systems and indoor air quality work like filter changes round out what they tackle on a regular basis for repeat customers.

Homeowners keep coming back because the crew shows up fast when cooling breaks down and keeps communication clear from the first phone call through completion. Reviews note fair pricing on repairs, solid knowledge that avoids guesswork, and techs who treat people with respect while finishing the work right. Response times and explanations stand out across jobs from simple refrigerant checks to bigger leak fixes. DIRT Score 5 from 170 reviews on Finds.

“I hired Brazos to diagnose cooling issues with my mini-split systems. The technician quickly recommended adding refrigerant and I was charged approximately $500 for refrigerant. I was also told one of the units had a leaking coil and was given a very expensive replacement quote. After continuing to have problems, I sought a second opinion. The second company completely disassembled both indoor units and found the blower wheels heavily impacted with dirt and debris. After cleaning them, airflow was dramatically improved and both units are now cooling extremely well. The second technician also determined the refrigerant leak appears to be in the line set rather than the indoor coil that I was originally told was leaking. My frustration is that the blower wheels were never inspected during the original diagnosis, despite being severely clogged and clearly affecting system performance. In my opinion, airflow issues should have been thoroughly evaluated before recommending refrigerant charges and major equipment replacement. I’m relieved I sought a second opinion before replacing equipment that appears to have had significant life left in it. I encourage other homeowners to get multiple opinions before approving expensive HVAC repairs or replacements.”
