Mountain Lakes Mechanical

Mountain Lakes Mechanical takes care of HVAC needs for homes around Stephenville, Texas. The company focuses on heating and cooling systems that stand up to the local weather swings, from cold snaps to long hot stretches. Crews handle both new installs and repairs on furnaces, air conditioners, and related equipment. Homeowners reach out when old units fail or when they want upgrades that improve efficiency without overcomplicating the setup. The outfit stays grounded in straightforward fixes that match what the houses in the area actually require.

They put in complete furnace replacements along with hot water heaters and whole house air conditioning systems. Steve, the owner and lead operator, shows up to handle the installs himself, double checking every connection and making sure warranties stay intact. Sadie handles the office side by lining up appointments inside the time slots customers need and getting quotes turned around the same day. The team also runs a regular preventative maintenance program where technicians inspect units, replace worn parts, and keep systems running steady through the seasons. Jobs often include clearing out and updating mechanical rooms so everything works together without leaks or noise issues.

Customers stick with them because the installs hold up over time and the crew shows up ready to work without dragging things out. Response times stay quick, explanations come across plain and direct, and pricing stays reasonable for the level of care put into each job. Quality shows in how they add new AC units and keep old furnaces replaced properly. Communication stays open from the first call through the final walkthrough. “Mountain Air Mechanical Contractors previously installed our new furnace and hot water heater. They did such a great job we called them back to install a new whole house air conditioning system. They did an excellent job on the modern AC installation as well as revamping our whole mechanical room including a water expansion tank to stop water hammers. Every water line, gas line, valve, and electrical control system was upgraded and rerouted to make everything easily accessible and organized! We are extremely satisfied with the project and highly recommend Mountain Air Mechanical Contractors for all your HVAC and mechanical installations and/or upgrades. 10 Stars!! Thanks so much!!”

“Very friendly and service oriented team. Sadie in the office was courteous, professional and responsive. She set my appointment up in the window I had available and made sure that Steve, the owner/ operator, contacted me with my quote right away. I can’t say that my job went off without a hitch, but when certain unexpected circumstances came up, Steve was still able to get the job done the same day. It wasn’t inexpensive, however I feel confident that the installation was completely pro and that the team will stand behind their work. It was a truly tricky job in a historic house, that ended up being totally custom. I also like to support local business people who are truly hometown people, keeping it real. Thanks Mountain Air!”

“Highly recommend the HVAC preventative maintenance program offered. Expert HVAC technicians in Loveland, always transparent and fair pricing, and excellent customer service. Over the years, Stephen has replaced our old furnace, added an AC unit, and helped us better maintain the new systems installed.”
