“HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAMILY & COMPANY. Hired them to fix my dryer in 2017 when they were Vargas Air Conditioning & Appliance. They said it was the belt and would be back in a week with the part to fix it. I paid them $200 and they said they fixed it about a week later. A few days after it stopped working again. I called them and the dad came out and said he had to get another part but he'd be back in a few days to a week. He never came back and they avoided me after. Wouldn't answer calls or texts. Tried reaching out to them every way possible. Finally I watched a video online and ordered a belt myself (which cost under $10) and once I got the dryer open I saw the "new" belt he said he put on. It was off the drum and old and raggedy looking. Might have been the same belt that came with the dryer when I bought it new years earlier. He lied and scammed me then dodged all my calls. Avoid these crooks! I posted to Erath County Rant & Rave about it at the time and several other people said they did the same thing to them but with different appliances and repairs. Horrible people and horrible business. Zero integrity.”
