Conditioned Air Inc
HVAC Contractor · Sugar Land, TX
About
Conditioned Air Inc works out of Sugar Land, Texas on HVAC jobs for houses throughout the area. They focus on air conditioning installs and repairs in a place where summer heat and humidity push systems hard every year. Homeowners call them for new equipment and duct work when old units fail or when they need upgrades after living in the same property for decades. Some customers have used their services across multiple homes and more than twenty years of service calls, dealing with everything from routine fixes to full system swaps when breakdowns hit during the worst weather.
They handle complete HVAC and duct replacements, like the one done in April 2024, along with service visits when units stop cooling properly. Technicians such as Raymond the service manager get involved on calls, and the crew responds to issues that range from standard maintenance to bigger problems that need quick attention. Homeowners mention the company showing up for repeated work on the same properties and handling the physical side of installs in tight spaces or during busy periods. Road incidents with their trucks have come up in a few cases, but the day-to-day work centers on getting cooling systems running again in the local climate.
Customers note solid product quality after installs and credit the team for resolving problems once they reach the right people, along with professional handling on service jobs. Speed and communication vary by the call, with some reviews pointing to strong follow-through on fixes while others mention delays or access issues when trying to reach owners or managers. Price feedback stays mixed depending on the scope of work. DIRT Score 3.79 from 34 reviews on Finds.

“I’m giving Conditioned Air Mechanics (CAM) 4 stars because, while the initial journey was rocky, the way they handled the final resolution was impressive. The Background: We had a full HVAC and duct replacement in April 2024. Ultimately, the product itself is high-quality, but the initial installation lacked the necessary care. There were several oversights, including a drain line that wasn't sloped correctly (causing water to back up) and some air ducts that weren't properly replaced. While they did come back earlier on to finish some incomplete ductwork, the ongoing drainage issues were a major headache for over a year. The Resolution: I’m happy to report that Leo at CAM recently stepped up to take full ownership of the situation. He ensured the remaining technical errors were corrected properly once and for all. They sent Hermes out for the repairs, and he was excellent—he corrected the unit’s elevation and fixed the drainage issues. Crucially, CAM also took responsibility for the resulting water damage and fixed our sheetrock issues, which we greatly appreciated. The Result: Since Hermes finished the repairs, the system is now cooling significantly better than it ever did before. It’s a relief to finally have the unit working at 100% efficiency. Summary: The initial installation lacked attention to detail, but seeing a company actually stand behind their warranty, fix the resulting damage, and send a skilled technician like Hermes speaks volumes. It was a long road to get here, but I’m satisfied with the final result and the level of service CAM and Leo provided to make things right.”
“Conditioned Air has installed many units in my house for over 20 years. I have an air conditioning crisis and called for the owner and was told he was not in, and the young lady said she could not give out his number or the number of Raymond, the service manager. She talks like she is in charge and dictates what will happen. Count me as extremely disappointed and unhappy. Now that I am in day 2 of a crisis in over 90 degree heat, it is time to move on. Talk about the attitude, which is the customer is never right and I can talk only to this young lady who wants to dictate to me. Horrible, just horrible. Randy”
“Be careful doing business with these hooligans. I was driving on the highway and put the signal to merge into a lane in rush hour traffic and their business truck started speeding up and honking aggresively and was engaging in road rage behaviour. Kept speeding up to me and acting aggresively basically being a window gangster. This is with their business name and phone number plastered all around the truck. You would think people would have some common sense with the chance of being exposed like this when their business name and phone number is on the vehicle!! Can you imagine letting these type of mentally unstable ticking time-bomb goons into your private home ? Be VERY careful doing business with these bullies.”
“Conditioned air always go above and beyond for us and always are so nice and professional. They have helped us out in so many ways that make me so appreciative of them!”
“I contacted this company for an estimate on a mini-split installation in my garage. I already had all the necessary measurements, and the project was straightforward, but they insisted on sending an estimator for an in-person visit. I accommodated their request and stayed home for the appointment. When the estimator arrived, he simply took the same measurements I had already provided and left. When I received their proposal, it was nearly twice the cost of comparable estimates from other companies for the same specifications. Based on my experience, their pricing appears significantly higher than the competition. Additionally, their insistence on an in-person estimate, despite having all relevant details in advance, raises concerns about whether their pricing is influenced by the perceived value of the property rather than the actual scope of work. I would not recommend them.”
