About

Matthew W Frita works as an HVAC contractor based in Sugar Land, Texas. He carries a state license as an air conditioning contractor under number 12770 that stays active through December of next year according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records. This keeps his focus on cooling systems for local homes where humidity and long summers push equipment hard every season. Homeowners in the area count on steady performance from their units to handle the heat that builds up fast once spring rolls into summer. Frita stays ready for the calls that come when systems start struggling under that load.

He handles full installations of new air conditioning units along with repairs on older systems that break down during peak months. Common jobs include fixing compressors that quit in the middle of July heat waves, recharging refrigerant levels after leaks show up, and replacing thermostats that no longer hold accurate settings. Technicians check ductwork for blockages that cut airflow and clean coils to restore efficiency on units running nonstop. Work often starts with a quick diagnosis on site followed by parts swaps or adjustments that get the system back online the same day when possible. In Sugar Land the constant moisture means extra attention to drainage lines to stop water damage from building up around the equipment.

Customers give steady marks across speed of response, quality of the fixes, fair pricing on parts and labor, and clear updates during the job. Reviews highlight how the crew shows up prepared and finishes without leaving loose ends that force extra visits later. That pattern of solid results on routine maintenance and emergency calls builds the overall rating. DIRT Score 4.43 from 68 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

My husband has had to wait about an hour after his scheduled appointment time to see the doctor every time. He waited today over an hour because five people were ahead of him. All for her to tell him everything is fine and keep it up. They probably overbook themselves. So if you have work, expect to block at least 2 hours of your time to see this doctor.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Susan Matthews for approximately 12 years, I started seeing her when she was at Houston Methodist Sugar Land. I was referred to her from my family physician in Columbus, Texas Susan and her staff are professional and do a very good job. They treat you like family there. If there was an option to give 10 stars, I would…

I have been seeing Dr. Mathew for about 5 years now. I had been to several other doctors that did not take my pain seriously. She her expertise inclined her to run more test to determine a diagnosis. We tried different medications until we found a suitable fit for me. She listens and processes the information told to her, which is priceless!!!!!!!! As a patient, that is very valuable! She responds to messages through the portal and staff return calls within the same day. I appreciate all of her staff, especially Gio and Natalie.

I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Susan Mathew. She has been incredibly kind, thoughtful, and caring throughout my journey. She’s always honest about the process of finding the right treatment and has been patient in answering every question I’ve had. It’s rare to find a doctor who truly listens and cares, and I finally feel like I’m in good hands. Highly recommend Dr. Mathews to anyone looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable rheumatologist!

I’ve had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Mathew for over a year, and I truly can’t say enough good things. From the very first visit, she took the time to listen carefully to get to my concerns, explain my diagnosis in a way I could understand, and walk me through every step of the treatment plan with empathy and clarity. Managing a chronic condition like rheumatoid arthritis can be overwhelming, but Dr. Mathew's deep knowledge, patience, and proactive approach to care have made all the difference. Her attentiveness and willingness to adjust treatment based on how I’m feeling have helped me regain a sense of control over my health. The entire office staff is also incredibly kind, efficient, and respectful — making every visit as stress-free as possible. I always feel heard, valued, and cared for, which is rare in healthcare these days. If you’re looking for a rheumatologist who combines top-tier medical expertise with genuine compassion, I highly recommend Dr. Mathew.
