About

Tran Airconditioning runs a straightforward HVAC operation based in Denton, Texas. They focus on heating and cooling work for homes in the area, carrying Trane systems along with the parts needed to keep units running through hot summers and cold snaps. Local homeowners turn to them for air conditioners, furnaces, and the components that go with those setups, whether it's a full replacement or a quick fix on an existing system. The business handles both new installs and repair jobs that come up often in North Texas weather.

They sell and install packaged systems, ductless units, and split systems while stocking everyday items like coils, thermostats, and duct materials. Customers have come in for 8 inch flex runs and foil tape during AC repairs, with some noting the staff including Dilip walked them through options and got the right pieces pulled. Work also covers heat pumps and air handlers when breakdowns hit, and the crew deals with zoning setups or basic ventilation needs that pop up in older Denton houses. Folks have described getting help on indoor air quality add-ons like filters without extra steps.

Reviews show a split on how the shop performs, with some customers calling out high markups on parts like foil tape and flex that cost more than nearby spots, while others point to solid help from knowledgeable staff who kept prices reasonable on AC components and answered questions clearly. Speed and communication get mixed marks depending on the visit, but quality of the actual parts and guidance stands out when things go right. DIRT Score 3.32 from 18 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

This was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had. The prices are extremely inflated compared to standard rates. I was charged $48 for a 1402 foil tape, while my partner purchased the exact same item elsewhere for only $36. When I attempted to return it less than 30 minutes later, I was told there would be a 20% restocking fee. The seller justified this by saying he's a small business owner but many of us are small business owners too, and that doesn’t justify overcharging or taking advantage of customers. It's unacceptable to be both overcharged and penalized for trying to make a prompt return.

Wayyy to expensive charge me 100 dollar for one bag of 8 inch flex. Normally 60 in any other store I didn’t realize the price until I was down the road. I call back and ask maybe they made a mistake and the guy got a attitude with me. Bad store. Avoid it as much as possible

i had a great experience here. The seller was extremely helpful and kind. Will be returning for future AC parts.

Extremly helpful staff, had a good experience with dilip. prices were reasonable, and staff were kind and knowledgeable. Will be returning.

I had a good experience here, I was glad they were open Saturday morning, I found them very helpful and will be back again.
