Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling

Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling operates out of Tempe as an HVAC outfit focused on keeping homes comfortable through the swings of Texas weather. They handle furnace work, air conditioning repairs, and full system replacements with crews that show up ready for same-day calls when units fail. The outfit has run since 1947 under a straightforward approach that mixes heating fixes with cooling jobs, and they keep things moving for homeowners who need reliable service without delays. Their reach covers the local area where summer heat and occasional winter cold put constant pressure on equipment.

In Tempe the summers hit hard, so most calls involve air conditioners that stop blowing cold air right when the temperature climbs past ninety. Crews handle routine maintenance to clean coils and check refrigerant levels before problems grow, along with ductwork fixes that improve airflow in older houses and insulation upgrades that cut energy loss. They also replace entire systems when older units can no longer keep up, and they address indoor air quality by installing filters and ventilation that handle dust and humidity common in the region. Homeowners often face sudden breakdowns after years of heavy use, and these technicians work through the details on site to restore function without dragging jobs out.

Customers keep coming back because the work gets finished on time, the repairs hold up through the seasons, and the pricing stays clear from the start. Technicians explain options in plain terms and show up when promised, which adds up to steady scores across speed, quality, and communication. That record of handling real problems without extra hassle is what sets the outfit apart in the local market. DIRT Score 4.86 from 1472 reviews on Finds.

“Scottsdale Air called and got me on the schedule for my routine tune up that I had signed up for. Jerry Braaten was very efficient and did not waste anytime getting to the tune up, super friendly and very professional. Highly recommend this company, they have been very honest and straight forward with me throughout all my AC issues. Zero complaints, I wished I remembered the tech that had helped out and cleaned the inside house filters when I was gone. They go above and beyond. For reference, I don’t remember the yearly subscription package but I think it was like 180-250 bucks for the year, there is some other stuff involved I don’t remember but it fits my needs)”

“These guys are the most honest, reliable and knowledgeable HVAC repair pros in the business. Fair prices with the friendliest staff. Noah came out today and did a 5 Star job. Our Corgi loved him and wants him to come back!”

“Highly recommend Scottsdale Air. Was able to get an appointment around my busy schedule. Austin our tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He went thru all available options to us. Didn't feel like a sales push whatsoever.”

“Tom Harwood came out and did an amazing job. Tons of moving parts with me out of town and navigating everything. Amazing customer service from call center to Tom that showed up at our house. Super knowledgeable, respectful, fast, dialed in. This is the best AC company by far in the valley. We also have 10 airbnbs that they service and we are very happy with them every time. Thanks Tom!!!”

“Just wanted to say I was very pleased with my recent service from Scottsdale Air! My tech was Jesus Galindo. He was absolutely wonderful. He was very thorough and took photos during the entire process and explained them all to me when he was done, recommending 2 items to help me stay cool. Highly recommend Scottsdale Air. I have been using them for 14 years!”

“Two Technicians who knew exactly what to do, explained it well before hand and listend. Friendly, pleasant and knowledgable. No wonder with names like Angel and Isaac. I also had signed up for annual service for both A/C units. Unfortunately, as I understand the two techs above are from their install and repair division. Hopefuöly the annual service will be done by someone who can live up to them.”

“Cole was far superior in his service of our ac units. We have always used a different company for as long as we lived here. We changed to Scottsdale air based on a neighbor who highly recommended them to us. I have never seen such a thorough servicing of our units. I highly recommend this company and especially Cole. He knows his stuff. Thank you for your honest opinions Cole!”

“I purchased new system 3 years ago with them. Also purchased a yearly maintenance plan. They come out twice a year to keep my system up to specs. The service tech Jack B., did a very thorough inspect and cleaning of system. Also went in attic to check system duct work. He did a great job, took his time to make sure everything was done right and cleaned up. Also was very informative with any concerns I had. There are so many companies to choose from, but I highly recommend Scottdale Air !!!”
