Samson and Sons

Samson and Sons runs an HVAC operation based in Tucson where the desert climate puts heavy demands on cooling and heating gear year after year. The crew focuses on air conditioning and heating work for houses across the area, taking on installs, replacements, and ongoing care for systems that face constant dust and temperature swings. Homeowners in this part of the country deal with long stretches of extreme heat that can knock out units fast, so the company stays ready for those calls when equipment fails during peak summer or when heating needs attention in the colder stretches. Their approach covers the practical side of keeping air moving right without extra complications.

The outfit handles air conditioning installation and replacement along with repairs and maintenance checks that catch problems before they grow. They also manage heating installs, furnace repairs, and heat pump work while offering duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning to cut down on buildup that affects performance in dusty conditions. Maintenance contracts keep systems inspected regularly, and they take on indoor air quality jobs that help with the dry air common around here. Crews show up for service calls on units that stop blowing cold or heat pumps that need adjustments after heavy use, fixing what broke and getting things back online without dragging out the process.

Homeowners around Tucson count on quick responses when the heat hits hardest and solid fixes that last through another season of rough conditions. The crew earns steady marks for showing up on time, getting the job done right the first time, keeping costs reasonable on parts and labor, and explaining options in plain terms instead of technical talk. That consistency shows up across the jobs they complete on both cooling and heating side. DIRT Score 4.82 from 472 reviews on Finds.

“A class act! I asked Samson & Sons to bid on replacing my ancient AC unit and was impressed with all the staff throughout the whole process. The guy working up the bid was informative, talked to me about my options, thoroughly examined the old systems, including the air intakes and duct-work, and I got a reasonable bid quickly, which included various options along with excellent warranties. I appreciated their honesty and that they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary equipment or services. Office staff were easy to reach and knowledgeable. They were able to schedule the job fairly quickly. The guys sent to install the system were courteous, consulted with me on various aspects of the install, and finished the job early. Chris, who directed the installation, walked me through all the co”

“This firm provided the key factors for me: Honesty, Competence, and Personable and Knowledgeable technicians. We tried 4 AC firms, and only Samson figured out why our central air shut down randomly and occasionally. Others told us freon or wanted to experiment with changing parts to see if they could figure the cause. Samson's technician found the cause (some loss of insulation on the motor) and said we might have 2 or more years left on it and didn't rush us to replacing the motor. The honesty part! This saved us from an $1100 charge for experimentation with other parts suggested by another firm.”

“This past summer our furnace system went out. Samson and Sons came out right away for an inspection and quote. They then came out that Saturday to install everything so we would not be without ac too long. We are so grateful for the fast turn around and fair price we were given. The technicians were also fantastic and explained everything being done. We will be life long customers.”

“Thomas and Jeff came out the day after we called. They were professional and honest and went out of their way to talk to my husband on the phone to let him know the services needed. They were very kind to me and leg me know exactly what they were doing. We have had a contract with Samson and donx got a c maintainence and after e years with them we will never use another company. Thank you for the above and beyond service”

“Dylan and Jeremy from Samson and Son’s were excellent. I will be using them for any problems or issues I have with any of my A/C units moving forward. They fixed a longstanding issue on caused by a faulty installation by another heating/cooling company. The mini-split unit I had them evaluate now works better than it's ever worked before.”

“Kyle was very knowledgeable on heating and cooling, showcasing a clear understanding of HVAC history (required for our somewhat older HVAC system haha)!! Very responsive to questions, and even answered questions on a DIY project we were working on! Most importantly, very easy to talk to and great around pets :D Top notch service!!”

“We’ve been using these guys to for 7-8 now and they are really a great family run company whose prices are fair and whose technicians are always friendly, prompt and really know what they’re doing. They installed our upstairs swamp cooler, upgraded our downstairs unit and installed new thermostats for both units. We recently had their technician Kyle come to our house to inspect our furnace that was acting up and we were so impressed with him on every level. If you have HVAC needs don’t hesitate to contact these guys!!”

“Our friends highly recommended Samson and Son, so we gave them a call for an estimate on a new rooftop system to replace our 14 year old unit. From Alex, who gave us the quote, to Mladen, who took the inventory of parts needed, and finally to the installers, Jeff, Chris, and Lorenz, great job guys.”

“After living through the disintegration of our old HVAC company, it was a pleasure dealing with Samson and Sons. Scheduling was easy, the technician arrived on time and gave our units a good, thorough check.”

“I would highly recommend Samson & Sons. They are professional and honest. Alex spent time explaining different options to consider and even recommended another company for a project that was outside their service area.”
